The iHeart80s station ran this throughout Labor Day weekend. I added peak years and Billboard peaks just for fun (R&R peaks would have been similar). I have no idea how this chart was compiled. It, certainly, wasn't based on any national chart performance. I'm betting downloads played a big factor, as per the Wikipedia page for "Don't Stop Believin'", that song is apparently the best selling digital track recorded during the decade.
