How does one just casually NOT like Lorrie Morgan though? Like, I could understand and respect "I don't know much by her and don't have interest in learning more", but to just NOT LIKE her? Like, wtf did she ever do besides give us some of the most iconic female bops of the late-'80s and early '90s??! There is absolutely zero rationale for somebody listening to "Five Minutes", "Back In Your Arms Again", "Something In Red", "Except For Monday", "Watch Me", "What Part Of No", "Good As I Was To You", etc. and walk away thinking "Nah fam, she blows." All while stanning for songs like "The Weekend" and "Bob That Head"...   |

There’s a new month of love upon us and so in the spirit of Valentine’s I’m going to extend this to Sunday, February 23d. That reminds me, in case anyone is wondering where "We Luv Lorrie Morgan" comes from it's the name of Lorrie Morgan's official Facebook fan page ( link here for anyone interested!). Ok, so now that I'm back online after a small break it's time to get the ball rolling on this and as of the last reminder I haven't received any additional lists. I'm willing to extend this out just a little bit so that it gives some space in between some of the other rankdowns that are due soon, so consider this your official TWO WEEK REMINDER as I will be closing out submissions on the evening of March 2nd. I still think we can get to ten lists but I for sure am counting on some of my fellow country members to still show up and give their support for Lorrie who has quite the underrated discography...I promise you won't be disappointed! I'd love to participate, but there's a lot of rankdowns that I'm working on that are gonna close within the next few days, which put me in a major time crunch as a consequence. To avoid going through a complete meltdown again, I think it's best for me to be tagged in results instead. I'm sorry. :(

I always wait to do rankdowns until the last few days before the deadline. This and the 2011 rankdown kept getting extended, so I've kept putting off doing my lists. lol I love Lorrie Morgan though.

I mean, I bought a planner and made sure I kept track of the deadline and budgeted my time to get this done on time. That might make me more of a dinosaur than a human I guess 😂 But also my comment wasn't directed at you, it was more surprise at how low the participation is in general. Like, we could have listened to only 10 songs per month and gotten this done on time Now, I know people get busy with year-end rankdowns and stuff around the new year, and we have also had a lot of album rankdowns lately (a problem that I definitely greatly contributed to), not to mention all the stuff that happens in the non-country rankdown world! I'm just being playfully facetious  |
