ahh Midnight Sky the greatness

so my sleep schedule is so fucked that I think I slept through every set, so I'll just do a slight word wall:

- not surprised by "expensive" being last, but I'm more surprised than I should be at being the only #16 ranker for it lol. I didn't really hate anything on the list but it struck me as the most useless song on there

- "smile" is completely fine but juice has better

- "smile" "the plan" is completely fine but juice travis has better

- "lemonade" is pretty solid even with the complete charisma void that is nav being on there, kind of robbed

- "ice cream" was better than the last blackpink song we ranked in this series but it felt kind of sanitized

- the beat in "laugh now cry later" carries it by a lot, wished it was higher

- "dynamite" is solid and I'm pretty happy that bts finally has a big hit here, but I also see myself getting sick of it pretty quickly lol

- I liked "tick tock"'s chorus but I just roll my eyes at clean bandit still sounding like a tropical island kids show theme

- "my ex's best friend" is solid but I like "bloody valentine" more

- "over now" is good but it's definitely a little boring

- "daylight" is solid, glad to see it make the top five

- no idea why "cry about it later" was so high, it felt like going to a restaurant you remember being really good a few years ago and getting served a tv dinner instead

- I'd have been surprised if the top two was anything other than "wap" and "midnight sky" so seeing "7 summers" be so high is cool, easily my favourite song by him

- "wap" has done nothing but grow on me since the first time I listened to it, it'd probably make my top five on this list now

- "midnight sky" is great song that I should have bothered to listen to before I sent for this so it deserves this win
