Not a surprise that they are releasing this next, I think it will be a big hit.

Good choice, this could end up being massive as long as his fans aren’t already burnt out on it. There definitely was some buzz around this one when it debuted.

Not surprised by this choice at all. "I Don't Know About You" got off to a slow start but it wound up turning into his biggest hit single yet, so I think he's in a pretty good spot right now, and there's already some decent built-in hype for this song. I can see this one doing well for him.

Awww, I was hoping for New Phone, Who's This. Particularly after he posted a live version of it on youtube. I like Big Big Plans, but it's not better than songs on his albums.

This isn't any good but it hits the key demographic so I imagine it will resonate well.

I was expecting to hate this based on the title and the song's theme, but... I don't. I actually quite like that chorus, very melodic and is actually surprisingly traditional leaning. I like this. I could see myself purposely listening to this.

Enters the Mediabase Top 50 at #50 tonight with a bullet of 16.
I do kind of like this song, but this song is screaming sleeper hit at best as this song is a bit behind "I Don't Know About You" pace as 15 weeks in, here's how both songs stack up Billboard wise
"Big, Big Plans" Chart Position #50, Audience Total: 1.483 "I Don't Know About You" Chart Position #45, Audience Total: 2.632

I can’t believe how bad this one is struggling. This seemed like a big hit when it was first released, and it’s following up the biggest song of his career. Not sure why radio hasn’t latched onto this one yet, but it’s annoying. I’m beyond sick of these 50+ week marathons which have slowly become the norm, and not the exception.

The fact that this song is already gold despite barely being in the Top 40 at country radio really shows just how slow chart runs are now for country radio.

I really liked "I Don't Know About You" (which for me was quite surprising) and I like this one as well. I especially enjoy the surprise of a more traditional production. I wish this wouldn't be going so damn slow at radio...like literally everyone's songs. The fact that this song is already gold despite barely being in the Top 40 at country radio really shows just how slow chart runs are now for country radio. What even happened for country radio's chart runs to become so mind-numbingly slow? Luke Combs is literally the only exception I can think of and as early as three or four years ago, he would've been the norm.

It's taken forever, but this is FINALLY looking like its starting to take off and turn into a hit. It has been putting up its most promising gains since its release over the past couple weeks.

This song has been randomly showing up on the Country Aircheck Today updates as one of the top 5 gaining singles. Weird to see his singles continue to follow this pattern... I remember "I Don't Know About You" taking forever to take off but moving quickly through the top 30 once it got there.

Yeah I haven't heard this in months, and then it was very little, but one of the stations here has been playing it a lot this week, so I'm not surprised this is finally taking off.

Big gains this week as it jumps from 28-24 on Billboard AirPlay. I’m honestly a little surprised it took so long for this one to get rolling given the splash it made on streaming and sales charts when it was first released digitally, but it’s becoming apparent this one will be another hit for him. I see this as a future #1 even if it takes 55 weeks (which isn’t that odd anymore these days).

This song saw a huge gain on Billboard going up 5 spots on Billboard to #6 this past week gaining over 4 million on Billboard this week and on Mediabase this song gained over 5700k in audience and 1025 spins as well.
Look for this song to be #1 after Russell Dickerson, Blake/Gwen, Morgan Wallen, and HARDY/Lauren Alaina/ Devin Dawson clear out and I would not be shocked if this song is the benefactor of the Christmas slowdown of the chart given the solid sales, testing, timing, etc.

I'm not particularly a huge fan of Chris Lane, but it's time for radio to realize that he is connecting well to a large audience and start treating his singles as such. I feel frustrated for him watching his singles creep at the very bottom of the chart for the better 3/4 of a year and then suddenly take off at the end.
Both this and "I Don't Know About You" connected well from day 1 (streams) but took centuries to hit top 30, then once they did they gained like crazy all the way to #1.

I’m not the biggest Chris Lane fan by any means (though these last 2 singles have been great), but the early indicators for both this and “I Don’t Know About You” were extremely strong. Noticed this with Morgan Waller a bit too. Country Radio is almost like a fraternity where you don’t really reap the benefits of airplay until you suffer though the hazing years, with the hazing being replaced by gigantic chart runs. If something tests well AND sells/streams well, quit wasting all of our time and just start powering up the said song.

Glad to see this song hit #1 and looking forward to seeing what he has planned next! Hopefully it doesn't take so long but that's wishful thinking.
