Why are there no YouTube numbers available for HITR or Bandit yet? Sort of annoying.

^ I still don't understand why she moved on from the TUN era so quickly, had she released a few more singles throughout the rest of the year that album would've had much more longevity. Same here. I was mad when Post Malone moved on from beerbongs and bentleys as quickly as he did. I really wanted Stay to get the push it deserved. Such a great song that didn't get it's just due. Artists tend to move on from albums filled with amazing songs with tons of hit single potential because they're trying to start a new album era. Scorpion is the first time in a long time I was satisfied with Drake's choice in singles because he pushed 6 singles from the album; 7 if you count Mob Ties which was only sent to Urban radio. I love Drake, but the down side to him having so many songs chart all the time is that he's always moving on to the next thing and never giving great songs a chance to be pushed as singles.

I think Drake was unsatisfied with how the More Life era panned out which made him way more conscious of how he approached the Scorpion era. Probably one of his biggest commercial losses was making Passionfruit nearly five minutes with that DJ interlude, when it easily could have been a top 5 smash if he had cut it out.

Is Ariana Grande officially oversaturated? She was on fire with "thank u, next", "7 Rings" and "Break Up With Your Girlfriend" but her singles afterwards like "Boyfriend aren't doing as well I think she is. No one is above oversaturation. I know the songs she's released since she stopped pushing singles off thank u, next have been really terrible songs, but that's not the sole reason why they flopped. You have to go back to April 2018, she was pushing No Tears Left to Cry as the first single off her first album since 2016. Nice for What had just debuted at #1. Think of all the songs she's dropped since then (that's normal for rappers since they also hop on a ton of features along with their solo stuff, but she's released a lot of music in less than 18 months for a pop star). That's something her fans aren't used to and radio, as much as they might embrace her singles, can't push 6 singles from the same artist at the same time. If I was her, I'd take a long break in 2020. Maybe play some festivals, tour a little and then start work on a new album set for Q1 2021. She'll come back refreshed and ready to go again. Rappers have years to perfect managing oversaturation. This is her first go at it so she's still rough around the edges.

I gotta love the stan commitment that is needed to turn an Ariana Grande singles discussion into a Drake rant. That stan card has been renewed for eternity. 😂👍
Re: Ari, the last few songs aren't great. "boyfriend" had initial hype but even the biggest Ari fan will tell you there were better songs left on thank u, next or even sweetener.

I still can't believe that Monopoly was a thing. That song was such a non-event.

So...
Is “HITR” debuting at #1, possibly, or even #2?
What about that new Bieber collab. also - that I still haven’t bothered to listen too.

Could HITR be a contender for #1? Yes, HDD finished the article with "Look for the new single to dethrone Lizzo on the Hot 100 next week."

Highest in the room looks pretty likely for #1, probably just for one week. Especially with Truth Hurts hitting a peak.

Excuse me but where does that "strong sales" comes from? It hasn't done much on iTunes, currently #16.

I thought the hype was there when J Lo was on the track but then she wasn't on it.. I still bought it but personally I think I listened to it 5 times and this is the type of track I normally live for. I just don't think it was that song for people. Edit or not. Personally I wanted a "One Dance" and it just wasn't as strong. EDIT: I think I was speaking about a different song but even that song lost the allure when J Lo wasn't on the track.

Yes we love a record breaking rapper debuting at #1 (or #2 we don't want to ruin it) with a record breaking single!

Go, Travis! Not my favorite single from him, but then again, the best songs off an album are often times not the singles.

Didn't expect him to move on from Panini so soon but I guess a top 5 peak was enough for him.

I saw somewhere here on the pulse that panini would be released for Hot AC this week, I think a discount and more videos would help reach a new peak. ok Lil Nas X, let's see what you can do with Rodeo.
