Not much new appears to be impacting this week, however there is one important thing to keep an eye on: Someone You Loved has gone on discount, and appears to be making a bid to take the crown on the Hot 100. Perhaps a performance will occur in tandem this week?

Her streaming numbers are impressive, I want to see what she can do with some actual promo and maybe an album actually dropping within a few months of the singles.
Plus she knows how to make a good pop song.

If Not sure how much Katy will debut and if Lauv/BTS will make it I’m not even sure she can debut, she’s not posting great numbers in any metric, and her main strength right now (ITunes) may dip off too soon, the mid week release kind of killed it |

Not much will change. Expecting “Make It Right” to debut and “Dance Monkey” to make a big jump. “Good As Hell” will rise a good amount, and the Post Malone & DaBaby songs will drop more. “Harleys In Hawaii” probably won’t make it

I don't really care for SYL, but I was rooting for it to go #1 this week. It seems unlikely though. Regardless where it finishes eventually, it has already done much more than what I expected.
Also, I think Dance Monkey will be one of the biggest hits of the next year.

Ha I don't mind it, but I can see why some people may not like it. The streaming is just kind strong already for a song that has only been played mainly on Alternative radio. Eventually, the other stations will play it too. |

Dance Monkey isn't terrible in most aspects, but the woman singing it sounds horrifically annoying. If someone else sang it, it'd be a very average inoffensive EDM pop track.

Looks like Harleys in Hawaii should debut Bubbling Under. Just pitiful. Perry’s career is over. Small Talk killed all the good will Never Really Over Gained her.

Had she followed it up with an as good or better song, it could have been her comeback moment. I honestly think her next lead will do Walk Me Home levels of business, and then she’ll never crack the Hot 100 again other than as a feature. |

Hey, at least Katy Perry has a bigger chance to debut than... Marilyn Manson and Blake Shelton. I actually do see the Daddy Yankee song having a chance at debuting though, since the video came out at the same day.

We really need some new top tier artists. Also the fact that a lot of these artists can release trash that the general public hates, but get no backlash is a pretty bad system, so at least giant artist got it. |

I really wish that Marilyn Manson song had a chance to debut, it’s easily his best song since the Holy Wood, and definitely the most accessible song he has besides maybe Sweet Dreams, but that’s not saying much. I mean if he couldn’t enter off of having an original song that’s prominently featured in a giant movie, then I doubt this will do it. |
