Why? I genuinely do not see any appeal to this song, it is somehow both boring and annoying. I mean, the best way I can describe it is if Girls Like You and D Rose has a child. Why does TiKTok make any certain song a hit? The world may never know Maybe it's because people would actually listen to and stream the song? |

Yeah it's gonna be SYL or Circles if we ain't getting huge releases in the next 3 weeks
Circles is starting to slowly close their gap on radio while it's still miles ahead of SYL
With Truth Hurts and Senorita both starting to experience huge losses on radio it should happen with Lizzo at 9 or 10 weeks in total which is crazy if you consider the song was released 2 years ago

As much as I don’t want it to considering it’s boring as tar I could see Memories getting to #1, it’s been gaining a lot since it recovered from that second week

Someone You Loved is okay and Circles is great so I don't mind if either hits #1. I hope Truth Hurts can at least get 1 more week on top though.

Capaldi’s selling limited edition Someone You Loved cassettes, CD’s & Vinyls in his shop so those should definitely help him get the 1 this week

Regardless of the next number one single, I am PRAYING Maroon 5 doesn't pull another 'Girls Like You' and have 'Memories' reach number one because nothing else on the charts was moving.

Also, does anyone else feel Graveyard is going to be a smash Top 10 hit next year? It's rising in radio and Halsey's album drops in January. Like I don't like Halsey but I feel she has another hit with one of her better songs in a while.

DHL took quite a tumble (4->17) on Spotify when all other songs increased which makes me think that the 1st day numbers indeed combined the streams of Saturday and Sunday.

I'm not a fan of anything I've heard from Capaldi so far, but for some reason I'm kind of rooting for him to get a week in at the top anyway. The song is inoffensive, and I don't see it staying at the top a long time or permanently blocking anything else if it did get there, so I would appreciate the additional #1 in this calendar year. Half this year has been taken up by just two songs (OTR/TH); we could use the variety. |
