Sounds so definitively 90s eventhough it was released in 1989. 💁♀️
You wouldn’t think of Boyz II Men being a progressive group but this sounded like something BSB, NSYNC or 98 Degrees would have recorded in the late 90s. This was recorded in 1994/released in 1995.

This song from 1986 arguably paved the way for hip-hop artists to collaborate more with acts outside of that genre. Without it, we probably wouldn't have songs like Old Town Road or the endless string of guest rap features on traditional pop songs.

Afrika Bambaataa - Planet Rock 1982 electro-rap classic that was one of the very first records to use the famous Roland 808 drum machine and many other rap, dance, synthpop records would soon use the 808 afterwards. youtu.be/_rlUQsC8ECk
