I certainly loved "Hello". It was the best track she could have done at that point to have a massive comeback.
GAH and LYTLM are going top 10, which is nice. I hope Billboard doesn't automatically give credit to Ariana unless it's really the most popular version.

Kanye has top 4 on Spotify now but some of his songs are dropping so probably overall streams are too, don't have the time to calculate. I'm going to assume that he'll hold on to the top 11 on Apple Music US for the rest of the tracking week. He'll probably cross 300K SPS when it's all said and done. |

Remix with Ari is selling 2x more on iTunes, it has 250k more streams on Spotify and it's higher on Apple (#113 vs #121). I think they will credit Ariana for one week, just like they did with Britney on S&M. |

Is that enough to offset the original's airplay lead? It can lead on two components and still trail in overall points.
It could also come down to the label asking for a credit change, which is what happened with "Perfect Duet" if I recall correctly.

Yeah, I definitely thought Kanye would have bigger drops than Selena. Top 5 still seems likely for her though, but thatβs too big a drop to jump to number 1.

I gotta say, it's pretty surprising that Follow God, a >2 minute song with one verse and no hook, is doing the best out of all of the Jesus Is King songs and will probably debut the highest. Especially when Closed On Sundays has more buzz surrounding it.

Adele's "Hello" just came on TV and reminded me of how I pretty much just always pretended to like this song. Does anyone actually love "Hello"? Hope her comeback single is better. Itβs definitely the best Pop ballad released since... itself. Overall, itβs a very well written AC/Pop song with a great, vocally expansive, bombastic chorus. It automatically reminded me of a classic Celine Dion power-ballad written by Jim Steinman (βItβs All Coming Back To Me Nowβ) or others ala. βTotal Eclipse Of The Heart; Making Love Out Of Nothing At Allβ when I first heard it. I believe thatβs what lead to its mass crossover appeal. That said, my personal favourite of Adeleβs will always be βSet Fire To The Rainβ if weβre talking singles sheβs officially released. Iβve never really liked βRITDβ or βSLYβ. Turning tables is her best |

I think Kanye will outstream her this week for #1 (she could still be #2 on the Hot 100)

Follow God "only" 1.9M on Spotify yesterday. Safe to say that it won't be top 5 on Hot 100, as streams is pretty much all it has compared to all-rounders.

Lose You to Love Me, up to number two on Spotify (1.5M). Kind of rooting for it to reach number one, odd since I'm lukewarm on the song at best but it beats having Someone You Loved at number one.
