Why did the numbers decrease from last week? Is this connected to the change in multiplier you think may have taken place some time late in 2019?

Once a week with RockGolf's American top 10,000 and you know how your favorite songs are doing. Now that big news! By climbing to #20 on the all-time list, Circles has surpassed Old Town Road on the 2019 complete Top 100. That's the list that includes a song's entire chart run and puts that song into the calendar year when it first hit its peak. Circles first reached #1 on the November 30, 2019 chart, so that means we have a new #1 song of 2019! One that climbs to that spot seven months into 2020! Now, on with the countdown. Climbing 51 notches from number 9,728 to #9,677, it's 6ix9ine. That's the number six, the letters "I-X", the number nine and the letters "I-N-E". Here's "Gooba"!

Is the multipliers based on the 10th biggest song of the year or something?

Yeah 60k is a way better base for #1; 65k is just unnecessarily multiplying all of the values by 1.083333.

The decade-end list stopping at November 16, 2019 is assuming Billboard actually goes with x0.85 until November 16, 2019.

580 * Weeks charted + 20 * ((101 * # of weeks charted) - sum of all chart positions) + 20 * (( 80 * weeks charted above #80) - sum of all chart positions < 80) + 20 * (( 70 * weeks charted above #70) - sum of all chart positions < 70) + 40 * (( 60 * weeks charted above #60) - sum of all chart positions < 60) + 200 * ((30 * weeks charted above #30) - sum of all chart positions < 30) + 100 * ((20 * weeks charted above #20) - sum of all chart positions < 20) + 14000 * weeks in the top ten + 1200 * ((10 * weeks charted above #10) -sum of all chart positions < 10) + 400 * ((5 * weeks charted above #5) - sum of all chart positions < 5) + 18000 * weeks at #1
In Excel, you can get the weeks charted value using the countif function and the sum of chart positions using the sumif function.

Even simpler, all the points are divisible by 20, so it could be reduced to:
20 * (29 * Weeks charted + ((101 * # of weeks charted) - sum of all chart positions) + (( 80 * weeks charted above #80) - sum of all chart positions < 80) + (( 70 * weeks charted above #70) - sum of all chart positions < 70) + 2 * (( 60 * weeks charted above #60) - sum of all chart positions < 60) + 5 * ((20 * weeks charted above #20) - sum of all chart positions < 20) + 700 * weeks in the top ten + 60 * ((10 * weeks charted above #10) -sum of all chart positions < 10) + 20 * ((5 * weeks charted above #5) - sum of all chart positions < 5) + 900 * weeks at #1)

By the way Tanooki, Billboard's cutoff in the 1979 and 1980 year-ends were from October, so they'd probably start the 1980s year end in November 1979.

I use December-November for everything just because it's easier to have every decade be the same (a certain chart company seems to think differently...)

^It doesn't seem likely for any of them unless the cutoff for this decade is actually much lower than for the previous. one Say So already dropped out of the top 10 of Hot 100. Savage should be dropping out of it soon and get fewer weekly points as soon as that happens.

So I've decided that tanooki's revised 60,000 point method is much cleaner and have gone with that factor and her multipliers. So, like Tanooki, the points on all songs will have dropped but relative positions will stay stable. Anyone think say so and savage have a chance to make the decade end cutoff ? If it's not in the top 7 or 8 of the year, it will have little chance of making the decade end top 100.

I inadvertently reposted last week's figures yesterday. I was suspicious when I saw Tanooki's GOAT scores in the previous post and they didn't match. It was late and I was too tired to investigate. Big thanks to lurker lived up to that name and identified the problem.

Soooo All I want for Christmas seems like it’ll definitely be high up there on the decade end list if it comes back 9 years straight unless they multiply it differently

Interestingly, x1.0 is the multiplier for the entire 2000s decade.

^Yes. Interestingly, that the decade they technically fixed the formulas for Decade-End and All-Time Hot 100. They pretty much disavow any of the charts for those two published before that.
