Also at #16, two names I never thought I would see that high on the AM charts (or on any chart, really), Tory Lanez and T-Pain with their new song "Jerry Sprunger".

Roxanne needs a Billboard controversy and a remix to get it to #1. Get The Police on the remix. They just had a hit song last year with Lucid Dreams so don't think they'll go again

Luke Combs kind of "flopping" on Spotify, no songs in top 30. Lil Mosey up to #6 and Lil Baby debuts at #14.

Country doesn't tend to do good on Spotify but it is worthwhile a straightforward country album, no pop or hip-hop traces on it, got good numbers on Spotify regardless. Regardless of how you feel on Luke Combs, that's a win for country. Also, why are Spotify playlists still trying to make Young Thug clones a thing? Thugger was enough, we don't need the creative backwash of people like Lil Baby or Lil Mosey.

With better-than-expected streaming numbers, good sales, and support from Country radio, could this mean an album bomb for Luke Combs?

Prepare to see Tory Lanez' name a lot more next week, his Chixtape 5 album will bomb on AM after its released next Friday. Luke Combs kind of "flopping" on Spotify, no songs in top 30. With better-than-expected streaming numbers, good sales, and support from Country radio, could this mean an album bomb for Luke Combs? His 5-song EP from earlier in the year actually debuted with half of its units from streaming, plus his 2017 album has moved over 1 million units this year. I'm expecting a pretty large debut for this album, I would say 140k+ and a small album bomb on the Hot 100.

I think some of the songs will chart that seem to be doing well on streaming & sales such as βAll Over Againβ and βBetter Togetherβ. I really want βDoes To Meβ to chart as well and Iβm not good at predictions but I think it could. According to the spincrease on AllAccess, the collaboration with Eric Church got over 100 spins yesterday so radio seems interested in it. Iβd love to see a few of the other tracks chart as well. Also, βEven Though Iβm Leavingβ will see a boost from wherever it is which will be most likely from the 30s into the 20s.

I smell his next single coming, and this one will have no trouble making 2020's Year-End list.

Roxanne is up 66.7% on U.S. Spotify compared to the same day of the previous week. Insane.

I'm pretty sure that Luke Combs songs at #5 on AM is actually 2 songs they combined together by accident, "All Over Again" and "Nothin On You"

Yes but would Lil Baby be a thing if it weren't for rap playlists bending over backwards for Drake in supporting 'Yes Indeed', and then later 'Drip Harder'?

Drip Too Hard already debuted near the top 20 before Yes Indeed even came out. Actually, Yes Indeed came before Drip Too Hard. My bad, for some reason I confused it for Never Recover (the Drake collab from Drip Harder). Either way, the point stands that Lil Baby and Gunna proved themselves as commercially viable solo artists without Drake's help.

In fact, I'd probably say Yes Indeed is one of the only Drake hits that isn't reliant on his talents to make it a hit. Drake's name definitely made people check it out, but it was Baby's parts that kept people listening to it.

Well that's a stretch lol
After all, he's been on hits by Rihanna, Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, ASAP Rocky, Lil Wayne, Big Sean, Migos and Travis Scott

I'm getting serious 'i Like Me Better' vibes from 'Yellow Hearts'. Not in sound but in how sickly, overly "cutesy" it is. Like it's way too milquetoast, not helped by me not liking the guy's voice or the instrumentation.

I have a feeling Dance Monkey will be massive in early 2020. I donβt really have much hatred for the song anymore, it grew on me a little.

I have a feeling Dance Monkey will be massive in early 2020. I donβt really have much hatred for the song anymore, it grew on me a little. Itβs already looking like a smash. Every week itβs been on the Hot 100 itβs had great gains. I donβt even think the massive worldwide popularity is from TikTok or anything. Just an organic hit. Impressive.

A bit off topic, but since the song should re-enter the Hot 100 in the following weeks:
You have to hate life if you donβt like that song. It instantly makes me happy. If only she was singing it to me.
