I remember the good old days when B.o.B used to get compared with André 3000, lol.

1, 6, 7, 9, 10 11, 17, 18, 19
37 44 52, 57, 58, 59 63, 68 71 82, 84
I'm guessing both my 80s made the top 10. All I can ask for is to let at least one Weeknd song in the top 10. But seeing what left this round they're probably the next two boots and in that case who cares who wins lol.

30. We Are Young: fun's singles were big highlights at the time. I love everything about this one, especially the chorus. I also have great memories as I remember hearing it all the time, yet I never got sick of it.
29. Old Town Road: I forgot this was still in. Yikes.
28. Sicko Mode: Overrated to an extent, but still decent enough.
27. Thank U, Next: I think Ariana Grande is talented, but this is so boring. I don't think it was deserving of being her first #1 on the Hot 100.
26. Some Nights: This song is perfection to me. Amazing opening and stays captivating all throughout. Instrumentally, it's fantastic.
25. Need You Now: This does not deserve 100s. It's amazing and I've loved it since the very first time I heard it. I love the story and the male/female duet. I love country music and this is definitely one of my favorite country songs of all time.
24. Thrift Shop: This has a really catchy chorus. That's about it. I still enjoy the song, but I barely ever revisit it.
23. Take Me To Church: I probably should've ranked this higher because I think this song is really freakin great. The songwriting is strong, the message is really important, and I love Hozier's voice. I'm surprised, but glad that this did so well.
22. TiK ToK: Iconic jam. Still love it to this day.
21. Nice For What: Decent song but quite overrated.

My predictions for how the top 20 might look like.
20. B.o.B./Hayley Williams - Airplanes 19. Avicii - Wake Me Up! 18. The Weeknd - The Hills 17. Camila Cabello/Young Thug - Havana 16. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis/Ray Dalton - Can't Hold Us 15. Post Malone/Swae Lee - Sunflower 14. Adele - Hello 13. Bruno Mars - Locked out of Heaven 12. The Weeknd - Can't Feel My Face 11. Carly Rae Jepsen - Call Me Maybe 10. OneRepublic - Counting Stars 09. Adele - Someone Like You 08. Billie Eilish - bad guy 07. Taylor Swift - Blank Space 06. Lorde - Royals 05. Rihanna/Calvin Harris - We Found Love 04. Adele - Rolling in the Deep 03. Gotye/Kimbra - Somebody That I Used to Know 02. Lady Gaga - Bad Romance 01. Mark Ronson/Bruno Mars - Uptown Funk!
That said, I hope Adele don't get two top 10s. I kind of want to see a one song per artist rule hold up.

I very, very much doubt Uptown Funk! will win. I think at least half the remaining songs have a higher chance of winning than Uptown Funk! haha.

I’ve been checking the results with some delay -quite busy at work!- so I’ll post a couple of catch-up comments on the reveals so far. Firstly, I believe this rankdown clearly reveals the change of style and vibe in the last decade, as well as the different preferences from new and old posters. Personally, this decade RD had just a few songs that I disliked or found annoying-not as many as in the 00s RD- and a big chunk of decent but not great songs. Now I’ll comment on songs with the biggest differences between my ranking and the final results (20+ spots). 95 Hey soul sister (66): I really like its melody and happy rock/pop vibe. Lyrics pass the cringe border a few times, but not to the point of deserving bottom 10 for me. 94 All about that bass (72): similar comment as above. I don’t like her vocal delivery as much as Pat’s, though. 92 Blurred lines (44): I still bop to it. I understand people hating the lyrics. I admit it has several flaws, but I guess I didn’t find it as insulting as others. Music is great, and harmonies work. 90 Sugar (46): I wasn’t a big fan of this back when it was released, but I’ve grown to like it and appreciate its simplicity and melody. Likely the most timeless sounding they’ve released this decade, and vocals are pretty good (their worst, most annoying vocals to me are in One more night, which ended in my bottom 10). Kinda surprised this ended so low. 89 Love yourself (64): a bit too simple, but I like Justin’s delivery, Ed’s background vocals, and the musical bridge. I did rank it lower initially (upper 70s) but I warmed up to it after a few listens. 88 Cheerleader (60): second song I don’t get being this low. The music and melody in the remix and the Latin vibe are great. One of the best uses of sax last decade. 87 god’s plan (49): huh? I’m far from a fan of Scorpion, and I’ve heard the singles just a few times. This one stood out as my favorite of his top 5s this era. It has a good combo of music, melody, and catchiness today me. 86 Stay with me (41): oh wow! Did people punish him for using Tom Petty’s melody? One of the best (and least ‘boring’) male vocal performances of the decade. At least one Post song should’ve left before this one 82 Without me (40): This song has grown on me with time, as I’ve come to better appreciate this wave of dark moody pop songs. 80 Perfect (58): I like ToY’s melody better, but Ed does a pretty good job with his vocals here, and the instrumentation is solid. 79 Shape of you (33): This is just a pure fun pop bop :) super catchy and globally loved. I slightly over ranked it due to its Latin/tropical vibe. I understand people considering it too generic, tho. 77 All of me (17): ??!!!! Speaking of great male vocals... I adore his delivery here. The melody is great (I like it much more than Ordinary people) and even though it’s a piano ballad, it’s far from boring (?!), as the vocal dynamics make up for the simple music. (And a good dance remix exists, btw.) in terms of lyrics, it’s actually made me cry a few times, as I’ve connected it to a personal loss. , Even without that connection is almost perplexing to see this song so low. I guess only Adele’s ballads will make the top half.... 75 Can’t stop the feeling (31): not surprising. Personally, this is yet another pure fun pop bop that I shamelessly love. It’s full of hooks, with a catchy melody and timeless music behind it. 73 Happier (50): I admit the production is a bit stale, but the vocals completely elevate the song for me. 72 Thinking out loud (28): My favorite Ed ballad. I admit it drags a bit in parts and this may reduce its likability. It does connect with me, though. 69 Wow. (96): Ha! This is what I consider boring and lacking in the melody department. Clear bottom 5 to me, that at least shouldn’t have ended higher than Sam, John and Ed. 67 Work (89): One of my least favorites from Rihanna. The best is good but that’s it. The melody is weak, Drake’s vocals are uninspired and Rihanna’s are annoying. 64 Despacito (19): not surprised at all, but this is a legit bop. I don’t know why people who like the original didn’t rank that version... that version highly contributed to the success of this song in the charts. I still love this song. It’s full of hooks, it’s not the typical reggaeton song as it has other Latin genre influences, and Luis’ vocals are great. I can’t at this leaving before Dynamite or even I Like It.... 61 Party Rock Anthem (27): Is this also leaving before Taio’s and Pitbull’s songs? I consider this one of the best dance pop songs of this time. Just like I Gotta Feeling, this has an epic sound and structure, with pretty good melody, especially the chorus and bridge. The sound after the chorus may sound a bit annoying now, but overall this is a pretty strong dance tune.

More delayed comments :)
57 Trap queen (95): a clear bottom 10 for me. I’ve never gotten it. Weak melody and vocals and a production that isn’t memorable to me.
55 Closer (35): it was just an ok song to me during most of its chart run. It clicked with me soon after, as I started to appreciate its simplicity as a sort of EDM ballad (especially thanks to Halsey.) and the intensity of the final minute. It also has a strong nostalgic factor that contributed to my ranking it in the top 40.
54 Dynamite (93): Finally! I’ve never liked it much. That chorus is still cringy to me. And the production sounds much more dated than other dance songs in the RD IMO. (I like Break my heart a bit better)
52 Don’t let me down (29): I’ve always liked its dark vibe, and Daya’s vocals. The weird post-chorus sound effect is a bit annoying, but everything else compensates this weakness.
48 timber (87): oh well. I won’t complain as I wasn’t sure where to rank it. It’s a fun and unique song, that I can appreciate. I do believe that Give me everything is a much stronger song, though—I ranked it at #30 thanks to its multiple hooks, solid production and Ne-Yo’s vocals.
47 dark horse (18): oh! Surprised this is in the upper 40s. It’s one of Katy’s most different, unique sounding songs, that I felt was the best single of the Prism era. Too low.
46 moves like jagger (20): super fun pop bop that I still listen to often. I love the production, and Xtina’s part is exquisite IMO. My favorite M5 song post-Makes me wonder.
45 one dance (25): This was my favorite Drake song in this RD. I really like the music and beat, and the vocals. Smooth, Latin infused, melodic jam. (My second highest Drake song was Hotline Bling at #38)
43 that’s what I like (73): this is just not my cup of tea. His vocals are great, but I don’t care for the melody at all.
40 Stronger (4): wow!!! I guess people consider it too generic... This is in my top 5 KC songs, and despite its slight genericness, I still find it fun, empowering, melodic, and greatly performed. I still like listening to it, especially to lift me up :)
39 Rockstar (92): huh? I thought boring songs were leaving with ballads in the 80s/70s zone? On top of that, the ratatata is cringy! can dig this song at the right mood, but even then I don’t consider it as a decade top 40 type of song.
37 Super bass (78): it’s definitely fun. I like it but sounded a bit dated to me this time around. Plus, Justin’s background vocals are a Nono to me, too.
35 F you (76): another song I do like, and I appreciate its full retro sound. However, his vocals especially in the bridge are too much.
34 California gurls (70): I was never a big fan of this, especially because it was almost a Tik Tok cover -a bit more refined but less fun. Definitely the opposite to Dark Horse.
33 love the way you lie (69): despite the infamous ’window pane’, I like Eminem’s performance here much better than Rihanna’s. It’s like she only recorded the chorus once and then it was copy-pasted several times in the song. No ad-libs or different inflections in the different choruses at all.
32 ET (11): one of my favorite KP songs. I love the production and melody; and Katy’s vocals fit the vibe perfectly. Surprised it didn’t make top 20.
29 Old town road (68): ??? I mean, how come Despacito is in the 60s and this is #29? I can’t.
28 Sicko mode (54): I appreciate the uniqueness of the song, and the core melodic part, but to be honest it lacks a bit in the melody and energy department. I’m seriously appalled at its being considered the Bohemian Rhapsody of rap? What? Having three inconsistent parts gelled together with a non-subtle transition doesn’t make it equivalent to BR at all. I understand its appeal but let’s not get overboard either :)
27 Thank u next (57): it’s cute, tender, well sung and simply but effectively produced. Don’t mind seeing it this high.
26 Some nights (62): I do like the music, melody and production a lot, but that bridge is too annoying to me to rank it higher. I’m surprised this ended up higher than We Are Young — that’s much more epic, dynamic, melodically interesting and effectively sung IMO (I reabres it at #21)
