never was a fan of Rock Rapp. not even with Linkin Park, so I'm going to pass on this completely.
I still even prefer this one.

I'm usually always "miss" when it comes to Falling In Reverse. I've been okay with a couple of songs, never loved any of them. This though, damn. I've been listening to this a lot and am loving it more and more. The breakdown is sick, the rapping I can actually handle and the chorus is actually fantastic, melodically and vocally.

based off the title and the artist, i feel like i already know everything i need to know about this song I know you're being a bit facetious here but this is a terrible mindset when it comes to approaching new music lol. I agree, they aren't my style but this one was surprisingly good. The chorus is great. The verse goes pretty hard too and I'm generally not a fan of rap in my rock unless you're Linkin Park or (to a lessor extent) Papa Roach. But it works fine here IMO. And Ronnie Radke is one hell of a talent, I definitely like him way more than the bulk of their material.

This is complete, utter garbage. Horrendous vocals and hybrid instrumentation.

Already over 10 million streams on Spotify. This is gonna be huge. :(
Also don't get how this has a rating over a 3 on RYM. (until me and janinho 1ed it there)

FIR has had tracks I've liked...and I've been listening to this for a while now and it just hasn't fully clicked for me.
(I swear when the verse kicks in at :41 it sounds like EpicLLOYD of Epic Rap Battles Of History.)

Honestly, the lyrics are cringe inducing, but I’ll still take this over 75% of the current Alternative chart. I get why this will be a popular target for most Pulse users though.

Well the heavier guitars already frighten the hipsters. Add onto some more dudebroey lyrics and voila....perfect hate material for Pitchfork!

I mean I get Falling in Reverse's general hateability, but I still like a lot of their singles. Last album especially had a couple songs I remember liking a lot. This is kind of obnoxious, but the chorus doesn't suck. Doesn't stand out really in the current Active landscape, but I've heard worse. Still uh, Ronnie Radke shouldn't be rapping, that just does not sound good.

I've tried to give Ronnie the benefit of the doubt as I never expect much prior to hearing any of his music, but man this is incredibly bad from so many angles. From the rapping, unnecessary language, lyrics, screaming, etc, I'm cool hearing it just this once. Somehow after my 1.5/5 rating on RYM, it still averages a 2.89.

Also has over 20 million streams on Spotify. Haven't checked sales yet, but seeing it's top 5 on Hot Rock Songs, I'd figure they're strong, too. (EDIT: #106 iTunes all-genre holy shit) So though I'm still not a huge fan of the song, (John Reverse's rapping is what makes me dislike it, not the lyrics, actually) it's certainly worthy of being in the top 10 as listeners want radio to play it, rather than the Dirty Honey song that barely anyone is buying or streaming.

Falling In Reverse undergoes a sound change (many times dramatically) with every album, and this time they happened upon the nu-metalcore sound just as it's beginning to blow up in popularity (Active's #1 is I Prevail, the poster child of the genre, and Fire From The Gods got a solid top 10, as examples). Whether by design or pure accident, they got a genuine hit on their hands with this one. As someone who listened to nu-metal all the time back in the day, his rapping actually isn't that bad, though the lyrics could be better. The chorus goes HARD though, and I like the breakdown and bridge riffs a lot.

That's simply horrific. He's been the main consistency in this band other than Ronnie Radke, he and Derek are (were) like blood brothers.
I can't imagine how Ronnie and the rest of the band must feel. And right on the eve of their first #1 too.

I don't know why.
