“Stayings Worse than Leaving” really gets you thinking. I listened to that a lot and pondered it’s message during my last relationship. Hard part was, it was also my first relationship, so I had a hell of a time figuring out if staying was worse than leaving.
Looking back now, I CAN say, if you are unsure if staying is worse than leaving, it is. Don’t stay if you’re questioning it! 😉 Such a good song. So happy to see Sunny doing so well in this rankdown!

#2. Sara Evans - "A Little Bit Stronger"
Total Points: 349 Average: 15.1 Year Released: September 27th, 2010 Mediabase Peak: #1 Billboard Peak: #1 Rankings:bboat11 - 1 bigfan101 - 1 fearlessarrow - 1 d3vin44 - 1 .indulgecountry - 1 Kanenrá:ke - 1 tim - 1 Troublemaker - 1 toomuchboy - 2 austin - 3 gardyfan - 4 taylor - 6 George Strait Junkie - 7 LBTrocks - 8 recordyear - 9 Cody Wants Out... - 10 someguy - 10 fireflies - 11 kw9461 - 28 sabre14 - 46 ClevelandRox - 47 castleoblivion26 - 54 raylatch98 - 96 Following: BB🌕 dgarcia3377 lady𝓐fan Mylo13 💜 "A Little Bit Stronger" was released as the lead single off Sara Evans' Stronger album in September of 2010. It was also included on the Country Strong soundtrack. It reached #1 in May of 2011. It was the first time Sara reached #1 since 2005's "A Real Fine Place to Start." The song was also her best-selling single. The song was written by Luke Laird, Hillary Lindsey and Hillary Scott.
This is a really good song and it was a thrill to see Sara back on top of the radio chart, but it's actually not among my very favorites from Sara. I know I'm in the minority but I like "No Place That Far", "Born to Fly", "I Could Not Ask for More", "Perfect", "Suds In the Bucket" and "A Real Fine Place to Start" more than "A Little Bit Stronger."
I'm not sure what the reason would be to rank this in the bottom 30 though...

#1. Sunny Sweeney - "From a Table Away"
Total Points: 346 Average: 15.0 Year Released: June 28th, 2010 Mediabase Peak: #10 Billboard Peak: #10 Rankings:.indulgecountry - 2 Kanenrá:ke - 2 George Strait Junkie - 3 recordyear - 3 d3vin44 - 4 raylatch98 - 4 sabre14 - 4 tim - 4 toomuchboy - 6 ClevelandRox - 7 fearlessarrow - 10 bigfan101 - 12 gardyfan - 15 kw9461 - 16 austin - 17 Cody Wants Out... - 22 someguy - 22 Troublemaker - 24 taylor - 27 fireflies - 30 bboat11 - 32 castleoblivion26 - 37 LBTrocks - 43 Following: BB🌕dgarcia3377lady𝓐fanMylo13 💜"From a Table Away" was released as the first single for Sunny Sweeney off Republic Nashville in June of 2010. It peaked at #10 in March of 2011. The song was Sunny's only top 10 hit at mainstream country radio. The song was written by Sunny, Bob DiPiero and Karyn Rochelle. It was off her album, Concrete. The first time I heard this song I was blown away. Like "whoa, who is this and what is this fantastic song?!" I knew of Sunny from her previous stuff but took me a minute to realize it was her first BMLG single. I actually loved "If I Could," which was released in 2007 at Texas radio. The song's music, production and lyrics are all amazing and I love her vocals. It sounded more traditional than most back in 2011, so imagine it now lol. I know some here will be upset, shocked, perplexed at the outcome but "From a Table Away" is a great winner. It was so close. These were head and shoulders the top two songs through the submission process. As far as the year-end rankdowns I've hosted, Kanenrá:ke and .indulgecountry are the only two people ever who had their top 2 last until the top 2 of the reveals, even if they were flopped lol. Hope I was a good host (sorry I accelerated the end, I had a window lol). Thank you all -- these are a lot of fun. :)

So you take out raylatch98's individual contributions and "A Little Bit Stronger" would have won this thing by almost 100 points? That's some real bullshit

Okay I am sure some people have some angry feelings at me for my rankings as without my list Sara Evans wins pretty well, but for me I have never cared for the song much due to the melody sounding pretty flat to my ears and the local radio stations overplayed this song a lot and still do to this day. I stand by my ranking of the song, and everyone should know by now I don't care for Sara Evans vocals outside of a handful of songs and "A Little Bit Stronger" is not one of them.

Lol why am I unsurprised by the source of the troll vote that caused this upset. That said, if Sara Evans was going to lose here to literally any other song, then that song was "From a Table Away." So, I am okay with this result. As sabre14 pointed out above, it was my top 2 just in reverse order. Both of these are like top 10/20 all-time favorite country songs of mine, with ease. In a way, I'm happy to see Sunny Sweeney pull something off like this despite the odds being in favor of Sara Evans for obvious reasons. Seeing "Table" have nearly exclusively top 40 ranks is just incredible, honestly. What a powerful song. The whole top 10 here was pretty fan-freakin'-tastic, I must add. Glad to see Sunny and Sara also reach the top 10 with "Staying" and "My Heart Can't..." and Miranda's "Heart Like Mine."

I think Sara should have been the winner, but if not Sara...this is definitely a worthy song that defeated it.

Regardless of my rankings, which I don't take any of the shade personal, this is all just for fun. This rankdown was such a blast, and I enjoyed every minute of it, thank you sabre14

and I thought my rank was gonna annoy some people. I love "A Little Bit Stronger" but I'm also SUPER sick of it and for that reason it definitely went lower on my list than I even intended for it to be. That being said raylatch98 that rank is a little silly but if that's how you feel about the song, who am I to tell you that you are wrong lol. I personally would have preferred Chris Young to win tbh but Sunny Sweeney winning is a nice surprise because it has felt like this entire rankdown was determined from the beginning. Thanks for hosting sabre14! Great job as always!

Sara edges out Sunny on my list by like a hair no smaller than a hair's difference, so if something else had to win I'm beyond ecstatic it was "From A Table Away"! This is why I love you .indulgecountry! Also love how well "Sparks Fly" did! Melodic heaven for me, and I swear it just makes me feel so good hearing it!

I had a feeling Sunny Sweeney would win, since, as bboat11 said, whenever there's an obvious winner, it's going to get near-last place tanks to prevent the win. Happens every time. At least I do really like "From a Table Away" though and it wasn't "Tomorrow."

I kind of expected "From a Table Away" to finish top 5, but thrilled to death that it pulled off the upset! Even if it is kind of silly that the the song with like 8 #1 ranks loses out to a song with 0 #1 ranks. I really like Sara, but I've always thought "A Little Bit Stronger" was a tad overrated (it's really good, I just like her best stuff from 00-05 more, plus it's been played to death). I loved Sunny from "If I Could", and I was so thrilled when she got a real chance on Republic. It's tragic that radio didn't stick with her after "From a Table Away", she's so unique and talented. And in defense of raylatch98, he had almost 30 songs below Sara's, so it's not really that egregious of a tank. It just stands out because the result was so close.

It stands out because he had her almost 50 positions lower than the next lowest person. And because it literally would not have been close if it weren't for his lone, solitary vote singlehandedly being enough to evaporate a 90+ point lead. And because he has a long and well-documented history of going out of his way to shit on Sara Evans every chance he gets. He knew what he was doing, and he got exactly what he wanted.

Sunny Sweeney winning this rankdown is quite a dark horse but wholesome. Very catchy tune with interesting perspective of the other woman in a relationship. Thanks for sabre14 for hosting this as usual!
