#7: "Heaven" - Until DecemberI didn't expect this one to be in the top 10. It is very radio friendly as far as Synthpop goes. I liked it, but not the expense of the more interesting songs on this list. Their second song featured here would have won a slot in my bottom 5. #6: "Alone Again Or" - The DamnedThis is not even one of their strongest songs, but I did dig the Spanish Rock vibe it had. "Alone Again or" cover was not for me. #5: "No Stars" - Figures On A BeachThis one was definitely one of those rediscoveries. Very catchy and has that perfect 87-88 synthpop style. This band also managed to score some hits on the H- Energy Disco charts. Particularly that BTO cover, but also "Breathless" and "Accidentally 4th Street (Gloria)". All great songs BTW. #4: "Synthicide" - SSQ Damn Stacey was cute. I remember this on MTV, but had no idea she was to become the H- NRG Disco queen on 1986. Anyway this song is so amazing. If I was to redo my 1983 top 100 I would probably put this in my top 40. This songs has aspects from all my favorites genres. You got New Wave, Hi- Energy, Synthpop, Poppunk, and rock. "Playback" was another underground Synthpop hit. This one had more of the Stacey Q sound of 86-88. Also her songs were produced my Jon St. James. The same who produced Bardeux and Red Flag. Her played a big part of the Latin Hi- NRG boom of the late 80's. This song for all purposes is the theme song for Jon's record label Synthicide Records.Great to see my #1 song make the top 3. Yes it's the one you all think it is.

if T-Pain is featured on the song, I probably don't want to listen to it

Ditto. Propaganda was the best of the remaining 3 songs.

#3: "Dr Mabuse" - PropagandaThis song was a first time listen. I found the music interesting , but some of the vocals questionable.. There is an Italo Disco song that has a similar melody. I forget but it could be a Valerie Dore song? "p. Machinery" sounded more familiar. AGain with the Italo Disco vibes. #2: "White Coats" - New Model ArmyNow this song failed to entice me. Poor man's Cure with less than interesting melodies. "Stupid Questions" was even less memorable. #1: "Living On Video" - Trans-XOOOOHWEEEE! Sound the alarms. I feel a wave of praise coming on. One of the best H- Energy club songs ever. Maybe even the best. This song has an award for being one of the longest running #1's on my personal chart. This is also the most celebrated club song in Mexico history. It's no surprise Pascal now resides in Mexico. The song has been covered in many different dance genre. Even some crappy trance thing, but what always remained was Pascal's picture perfect vocals for this song's theme. "Message" On The Radio". I didn't chart this because I didn't know of it back then, but if I did believe me top 3 for sure. The blonde in the music video later becomes Lady D. who is the original vocalist for "I'm Your's Tonight" ,"Imagination" and the other half of Live On Video "Don't Stop". Pascal has also worked with Mirko Hirsch, and most recently with TQ on a remix of his own song "Fascination". If you need any more information of Trans- X just gimmi a ring. here is the single version re released in 1985 and performed on Top of The Pops. A perfect lip sync performance every time. ;) The dancer on the right is Lady D. I don't know the other one. probably some chick the studio lend him to make the band look more Human League. idk but this song.... ![](http://i.imgur.com/Djn18.gif) across the board.
