Who else hopes that the christmas spngs won't dominate December this year?. They probably will and i seriously don't want to consider holiday songs which are only relevant during the holiday season as hits worth considering for the 2021 year end. I am just getting used to AIWFCIY being granteed to make this years

Hey everyone! I've been following the action on Pulse for over a year now (especially the year-end list threads), but this is my first post after finally getting approved to post here.

Anyway, after all the predictors on here posted their final predictions (provided the dates Billboard uses are 11/23/2019 - 11/14/2020), I decided to make a cumulative prediction based on the average of all placements of each song using Excel. I included all songs that made at least one Top 105 among the predictors in order to account for error. If Billboard had done what I was hoping they'd do and include 11/23/2019 in their 2019 Year-End calculations, this absolutely would have been the most plausible scenario. Shame that Even Though I'm Leaving would get caught in this case, but considering the 2018 recalibration that has messed up how we predict the list for years to come, it makes a lot more sense to have songs like Lemonade and One Beer make it in 2020 instead of old hits like ETIL and Panini that dropped out in February.

(Also, this would likely mean that Good As Hell would be a repeat from 2019, given that the extra week would have given it enough points to make the 2019 YE in the 90s range.)
