50 songs!? Dang! Unfortunately his mashup quality has declined year by year since about 2016 so we’ll see how that goes

What’s your predictions this year? I think he might put say so or blinding lights as the main instrumental, maybe if he could get the box’s ‘ee rr’ vocals in there too there’s no doubt he can use that as well.

Could "Kings & Queens" possibly make the YE list? Kings And Queens charted too late to make the 2020 year end list. However, it definitely has a chance to make the 2021 year end list.

^A lot will depend on how well radio holds for it. Breathin safely made the 2019 YE with a #12 peak and only 13 weeks of its run counted toward that year. I think something similar will happen to K&Q provided radio doesn't drop it too early (especially with the Drake album bomb coming) and its traction holds decently into 2021.

What would the year end list look like right now if it was from January to December.

Could "Kings & Queens" possibly make the YE list? Didn't it already make the Year-End list (and become a #1 hit) in 1986? You know, when it was called You Give Love A Bad Name?

Funnily enough, the song K&Q is actually interpolating, "If You Were A Woman" by Bonnie Tyler, was rewritten and sent to Bon Jovi after it failed to take off, and thus "You Give Love A Bad Name" was born.

I have decided to delete one of my predictions, because I thought Billboard would be stupid to skip a week of the charts. So now, this is the Official Scenario 3 (11/23/2019-11/28/2020). Just realized that if Break My Heart finishes at #27 on the 2020 YE, it will have the exact same peak position, number of charting weeks and Year-End position that Mercy by Kanye West had in 2012. Somewhat unlikely, but it could happen.

Not to mention, I Hope has been charting longer than Life Is Good so it doesn't really shock me.

Do you guys think Life Goes On will make the 2021 year-end? Well since this song is mostly sung in Korean it doesn't seem likely. We'll just have to see in the next couple of weeks.

For me it's that it will get to 1 build mostly on sales and that that's dried up, it really doesn't have anything going for it. It'll probably fall harder than Trollz did after this week.

And that will only be exacerbated by the Bad Bunny album bomb.

If it doesn't, then it would possibly be the fourth #1 hit from 2020 to not make a Year-End list (assuming Cardigan misses the 2020 list and Franchise gets caught between years). For comparison, the entire period between 1975 and 2019 had exactly one #1 hit not make a Year-End list (that being I Believe by Fantasia in 2004).

There was Rock'n Me by Steve Miller Band which was a #1 hit in 1976. It didn't make the 1976 or 1977 Year-End probably because it peaked at the beginning of November and it was caught between years.

Keep on Iraqin' me baby. 🇮🇶 I didn't know that it was caught between years. I knew that More Than A Feeling peaked at #5 between '76 and '77 and was caught between years, but I didn't know that song was.

Does anyone know when the year end is dropping, is it this week or next week? By the end of this week is my guess. Billboard has been wanting to put their year-end content out on the earlier side the last couple of years, and if the tracking period is what I expect it to be, that will hold true this year.

Billboard has been wanting to put their year-end content out on the earlier side the last couple of years, and if the tracking period is what I expect it to be, that will hold true this year. To add onto this statement, Spotify has announced that they will begin rolling out their 2020 Spotify Wrapped content tomorrow. For reference, last year’s Billboard Year-End Hot 100 release date coincided with that of Spotify Wrapped. I don’t expect them to be released on the same day this year, but they should still be pretty close.
