Wouldn't lucid dreams be the first song to be on three year ends if it barely made it this year? I know that's very unlikely but it's possible

We are now one month into the 2020 Billboard calendar year!
Yes, this strikes me as odd, too, but nonetheless...
So including the December 14, 2019 chart, here's what my estimate of how the 2020 year-end is shaping up so far:
At this point the question isn't going to be will AIWFCIY will make the 2020 year-end (I'm certain it will), but if it will get at least temporarily to #1 on this chart. I don't think so. Even, as most expect, it spends the next 3 weeks at #1, Circles isn't going away quickly, and should hang on. I believe it's the first song with enough points to guarantee a position in the year-end, even if it somehow stopped charting tomorrow.

USPOP 2019 was released. Definitely better than last year but the whole MIDDLE CHILD bit in the middle was awkward and I wish the final hook felt bigger. Also surprised Ransom, Goodbyes and Panini didn't make the mashup but Sweet but Psycho, Memories and Better did.

Circles has had a good portion of its run within the 2019 track year where as Sunflower only had a few weeks within the 2018 tracking year. Circles also hasn't even been close to reaching Sunflower peak in points which was 40,000+ according to fhas estimation back in January. We also haven't seen a song that was number one at the beginning of a tracking year reach the top 10 of the year end list such as Black Beatles and Thank U Next, or reach the top of the year end list such as Hello and Rockstar which also has larger peaks in points compared to good ol'Circles in quite some time. |

Speaking of Post, his achievements are extremely insane! Congratulations peaking at #8 and making it to the Year end Top 10 was just wow - doesn't happen too often
Also him having two songs in the YE Top 10 for two consecutive years
And tbh I'm pretty certain he'll get another year, HB still has lot of potential multi-format smashes (Hollywood's Bleeding, A Thousand Bad Times, Die For Me, Staring at the sun) but I expect him to release something new mid-2020
He is unstoppable, unlike a lot of other pop stars that came and went

As more new songs enter the charts we will start speculating on those. |

I’m predicting that Graveyard is going to have the same chart trajectory that Beautiful did last year, i.e. keep gaining throughout holiday season and suddenly get a huge chart rebound as soon as all of those holiday songs are gone, and stay on the charts until February or March which would be just long enough to barely scrape onto the 2020 YE, all the while not being able to peak within the top 20
