So I know is extremely early to talk about DJ Earworm's United State of Pop 2020, but is my predictions so far... Arizona Zervas - Roxanne Billie Eilish - Everything I Wanted Blackbear - Hot Girl Bummer DaBaby and Roddy Ricch - Rockstar Dan + Shay and Justin Bieber - 10,000 Hours Doja Cat - Say So Drake - Toosie Slide Dua Lipa - Don't Start Now Future and Drake - Life Is Good Harry Styles - Adore You Harry Styles - Watermelon Sugar Jason Derulo and Jawsh 685 - Savage Love Justin Bieber and Quavo - Intentions Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande - Rain On Me Maren Morris - The Bones Megan Thee Stallion - Savage Mustard and Roddy Ricch - Ballin' Roddy Ricch - The Box SAINt JHN - Roses (Imanbek Remix) Taylor Swift - Cardigan The Weeknd - Blinding Lights Tones and I - Dance Monkey Trevor Daniel - Falling With only two spots left... Toss ups: Stuck With U, Blueberry Faygo, Whats Poppin, The Scotts, Bop, and My Oh My. Not gonna happen: Trollz I'll guess "Stuck With U" and "My Oh My" or an unreleased song Also 6ix9ine - GOOBA. For how massive 6ix9ine’s comeback was and how popular the song is on Youtube, it maybe can sneak in.

Is Be Kind going to make it or is it going to pull a Here With Me and just barely miss it? It's probably one of the most unsure songs out rn. If it manages to stabilize and reach 20 weeks, it might make it, but it's in a pretty vulnerable spot for the upcoming album bombs.

Not sure if the Billboard Year-end 2020 will stop at the week ending November 14 or November 21.

I have come to the conclusion that the top 3 of the year end list will be some combination of The Box and Blinding Lights and then Circles at #3
whether or not The Box or Blinding Lights comes out in first depends on if The Box gets kicked out by the Taylor album bomb next week, if it does then there's a stronger chance for Blinding Lights, but it would still probably have to stay on average within the #8-12 range for the rest of the chart year (maybe a little bit lower if it's a 53-week year) to clench the #1 spot, but if The Box doesn't drop out next week then my bets will be on it probably being the YE #1

If The Box does survive, it would have to survive till the end of the year and rely on Blinding Lights to fall out of the top 10 to get #1.

well the thing is i'm certain that Blinding Lights will fall out of the top 10 at some point before the chart year ends though I do believe it will get 52 and potentially more weeks, so I'm not as confident that it's so easy for Blinding Lights to get the #1 as you are

I think the more important factor for the race to #1 is how long The Box will last in the top 50. If it lasts till the end of the year, then I agree that it will probably be #1, but knowing that it's already losing quite a few points on the charts, as well as the potential for future album bombs to shake the charts, I just don't see it lasting until November. Personally I think it will survive Taylor's album bomb at like #45, but will drop out sometime in September, which would give Blinding Lights around 2 months to quickly catch up and take that #1 spot.

I want to make an observation using 6 songs that are around the cutoff for the 2020 year end list, which are OUT WEST, Tusa, Kinfolks, BEST ON EARTH, More Hearts Than Mine, and I Don't Care. I will be using all 7 predictors on this thread to analyze these songs (Tanooki, Lights, Spicy, Guardian, Rockgolf, Reputain, and myself).
I notice in most of the predictions, Tusa is almost on the top, BEST ON EARTH is usually in the middle, while More Hearts Than Mine and I Don't Care are usually in the bottom. Kinfolks and OUT WEST however are pretty variable when in comes to these predictions, usually either being near the top or near the bottom.
Time for some calculations. In every prediction, I will allocate a score of 1 to 6 points based on the position each song has respective to one another. For example, the song in the highest position gets 6, and the song in the lowest position gets 1. I will then add up the total of each song and rank them based on the amount of points they have.
Tanooki: 1) Tusa (6 Points) 2) BEST ON EARTH (5 Points) 3) Kinfolks (4 Points) 4) OUT WEST (3 Points) 5) I Don't Care (2 Points) 6) More Hearts Than Mine (1 Point)
Lights: 1) Tusa (6 Points) 2) OUT WEST (5 Points) 3) BEST ON EARTH (4 Points) 4) More Hearts Than Mine (3 Points) 5) Kinfolks (2 Points) 6) I Don't Care (1 Point) Spicy:
1) Tusa (6 Points) 2) OUT WEST (5 Points) 3) BEST ON EARTH (4 Points) 4) More Hearts Than Mine (3 Points) 5) Kinfolks (2 Points) 6) I Don't Care (1 Point)
Guardian:
1) Tusa (6 Points) 2) Kinfolks (5 Points) 3) OUT WEST (4 Points) 4) BEST ON EARTH (3 Points) 5) More Hearts Than Mine (2 Points) 6) I Don't Care (1 Point)
Rockgolf: 1) Tusa (6 Points) 2) Kinfolks (5 Points) 3) I Don't Care (4 Points) 4) OUT WEST (3 Points) 5) BEST ON EARTH (2 Points) 6) More Hearts Than Mine (1 Point)
Reputain: 1) I Don't Care (6 Points) 2) Kinfolks (5 Points) 3) More Hearts Than Mine (4 Points) 4) OUT WEST (3 Points) 5) BEST ON EARTH (2 Points) 6) Tusa (1 Point)
Delphox: 1) OUT WEST (6 Points) 2) Tusa (5 Points) 3) Kinfolks (4 Points)
4) BEST ON EARTH (3 Points) 5) More Hearts Than Mine (2 Points) 6) I Don't Care (1 Point)
Total Score: 1) Tusa (36 Points) 2) OUT WEST (29 Points) 3) Kinfolks (27 Points) 4) BEST ON EARTH (23 Points) 5) More Hearts Than Mine (16 Points)
6) I Don't Care (16 Points)
Note: I put I Don't Care below More Hearts Than Mine despite both having the same total score since it was ranked in the bottom more times.
Looking at the total point score, it seems that Tusa has a good chance of making the 2020 year end list. OUT WEST, Kinfolks, and BEST ON EARTH have around moderate chances of making the list. More Hearts Than Mine and I Don't Care have low chances of making the cut though.

I Don't Care doing so would make it a song that appears in the year-end twice.

I don't really mind the song, but I never care enough to seek it out. It's the definition of average for me.

Sean from Diamond Axe Studios enjoys Sunday Best, so you're definitely not the only one.

I'm very late with the Aug 1, 2020 chart. I've spent most of the weekend revising to the 60,000-point model for scoring and trying to get the most accurate possible all-time scores. This does not affect the single-year points, since I use a different algorithm.
Life Is Good is like a cockroach, nothing seems to be able to kill it on the chart. It's up two positions in the top 10 this week after a slight recovery from last week's Juice WRLD tsunami. Brenda Lee should get pushed out next week, leaving Mariah the only Christmas tune in the top 100.

If Falling is dropping out this week, approximately where would it land on the YE 100? 20-25 seem right?

I said it before but I’ll say it now since I’m pretty confident now, I don’t think Break My Heart will enter the top 10. It got screwed by all these many album bombs.

We could be potentially looking at more than 5 hits on the year-end list dropping out next week due to Taylor's album bomb: Certain: Does to me, Chasin you, Sunday best Likely: Falling (It is bleeding on the radio at a ridiculous rate) Possible: The box, The bones, The Scotts Unlikely: Emotionally scarred Well, looking back at my predictions, 3 of them did drop out (Does to me, Sunday best, The Scotts) Whilst Falling and Chasin you just about survived (still expect Fallin to drop out with in the next two weeks looking at its radio loss though). I guess Taylor's songs did not held up on streaming that well after a huge first day debut.

Not gonna happen: Trollz Interesting, I had these songs: Arizona Zervas - Roxanne Billie Eilish - Everything I Wanted DaBaby and Roddy Ricch - Rockstar Doja Cat - Say So Drake - Toosie Slide Dua Lipa - Don't Start Now Future and Drake - Life Is Good Harry Styles - Adore You Harry Styles - Watermelon Sugar Jack Harlow - WHATS POPPIN Jason Derulo and Jawsh 685 - Savage Love Juice WRLD - Come & Go Justin Bieber and Quavo - Intentions Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande - Rain On Me Lil Mosey - Blueberry Faygo Maren Morris - The Bones Megan Thee Stallion - Savage Roddy Ricch - The Box SAINt JHN - Roses (Imanbek Remix) Taylor Swift - Cardigan The Weeknd - Blinding Lights Tones and I - Dance Monkey ? ? ? Living three spots unknown at the moment because there's usually some smash hits that gets released October-November. Don't think Fallin', BOP, or Ballin' will make it.

Week 38 - 08/08/2020Well, the Taylor Swift album bomb happened this week, along with a new number one. Otherwise, a relatively quiet week, though next week I'll most likely be re-evaluating my cutoff mark, since we'll be 75% through the chart year. I've also updated my formula a little bit to lessen the impact of new songs a bit further. Current Status (100 biggest songs so far, 173.000 points to be considered locked):Added this week:Chris Brown & Young Thug - Go Crazy Drop-Outs this week:Luke Bryan - What She Wants Tonight Songs Locked this week:BENEE ft. Gus Dapperton - Supalonely Ariana Grande & Justin Bieber - Stuck With U Currently lowest Locked song:H.E.R. ft. YG - Slide Songs predicted to lock within 5 weeks:1 week:StaySolidRocky - Party Girl NLE Choppa ft. Roddy Ricch - Walk Em Down Miranda Lambert - Bluebird 2 weeks:Lil Baby & 42 Dugg - We Paid Luke Bryan - One Margarita Chris Brown & Young Thug - Go Crazy 3 weeks:None 4 weeks:JP Saxe ft. Julia Michaels - If The World Was Ending Maddie & Tae - Die From A Broken Heart 5 weeks:Lil Baby - The Bigger Picture Jawsh 685 x Jason Derulo - Savage Love (Laxed - Siren Beat) Predicted Positions for Locked Drop-Outs:See image for all drop-outs #65: Surfaces - Sunday Best #82: THE SCOTTS, Travis Scott & Kid Cudi - THE SCOTTS #88: Luke Combs ft. Eric Church - Does To Me Predictions (Songs must have 158.000 points when adding multiple weeks of the points gained last week to their total):![Week 38 2020 Predictions](https://i.imgur.com/UobOZeH.png)

Pretty concerned with how Bluebird is losing so much radio. It should pass Beer Can't Fix this week (as per Tanooki's prediction) but then beyond that it looks like it'll join the 170,000 point clump. Hopefully it gets all 3 of its remaining weeks and slides ahead of Tusa

Hopefully it gets all 3 of its remaining weeks and slides ahead of Tusa I have Bluebird most likely finishing off between Does To Me and Even Though I'm Leaving (between 180,000 and 185,000 points), assuming the same point loss it got this week carries over for the rest of its chart run. I think its chances of making the 2020 year end list should be pretty likely, although it is definitely not guaranteed.

i think the reason why i have "tusa" with only 700 points is because my formula favors songs that spend more time above the top 50, rather than below it. i remember having "idgaf" below my top 100 at the end of 2018, and yet it made it because of the amount of weeks it spent on the charts, rather than its positions. i might have to adjust my formula so that some positions are closer together.

THE SCOTTS at 71? Does anyone even remember that this was a number 1 song at one point?
