THE SCOTTS at 71? Does anyone even remember that this was a number 1 song at one point? I don't think anyone will remember THE SCOTTS, Stuck With U, and especially TROLLZ being #1 hits in the future.

The latter two are probably going to be remembered as infamous fake #1's that exposed that Billboard needed to change their bundles policy.

Didnโt The Scotts also have gigantic streaming at the very least?

i would say THE SCOTTS's weekly and year end chart trajectory is just the 2020 equivalent of This Is America in 2018 and Hold It Against Me in 2011

The fact that "Dear Future Husband" and "Birthday Cake" were hits make me question that statement Dear Future Husband is good

The fact that "Dear Future Husband" and "Birthday Cake" were hits make me question that statement I don't mind Dear Future Husband, but yeah, Birthday Cake is atrocious, easily one of the worst hits of the 2010s.

93 I Don't Care 1615 94 If The World Was Ending 1609 95 I Love My Country 1576 Jesus christ these are absolutely atrocious (Ingrid Andress excluded). Best On Earth is the second best song lol. I know projections this far are bound to be off by a bit but still seeing it as a possible timeline is scary especially considering that 2020 has been Murphy's Law: The Year. Hopefully Billie and a couple other unreleased songs stick the landing and bring the cutoff up above this.

Hopefully Billie and a couple other unreleased songs stick the landing and bring the cutoff up above this. I have the final week 52 cutoff at If The World Was Ending assuming everything stays the same. Of course things can change and there are still a few songs that could potentially made the 2020 year end list that haven't charted yet. My best guess of the cutoff would be somewhere between I Don't Care and Kinfolks. Here's the bottom 20 plus other songs that I am tracking (minus Righteous and Be Kind since they pretty much have no chance of making it).
Week 52 (100%)

With ROCKSTAR being unstoppable at number one and Blinding Lights' longevity, I think the new year-end Top 5 might be:
1. Blinding Lights 2. The Box 3. Circle 4. Donโt Start Now 5. ROCKSTAR

How has Kings and Queens not charted in the US yet? It might soon. Yet another song late to the party in the US.

Well, thie August 8, 2020 chart was Taylor-made for one artist, who entered with one song called august and another just missing the day of the month titled seven.
The Weeknd finally makes it to #3 for the year on my chart. Does it have enough momentum for #2? There's only 13 or 14 charts that will be included in the year end. And there's a lot of distance to cover. His best chance if if Ricch drops out shortly by falling below #50 on the weekly chart.
Surprisingly, there are now two songs that hit the chart this year titled Cardigan.
