My guess is that Blinding Lights is most likely going to be top five of the year. I feel like Donโt Start Now can probably pass both 10,000 Hours and Memories, emphasis on 10,000 Hours. I stg if Maroon 5 sticks around the top for most of the year Iโll be pretty mad though

one of the biggest tik tok songs of the year Also one of the most worthless.
Wanna be clear that I don't mean any disrespect to Juice WRLD and I'm really happy Bandit will make the YE but the song was unsalvageable and I really wish his label would stop milking his recordings

I havenโt heard the remix but yeah the original is incredibly lousy and disposable

^Agreed on the latter point. And the remix is just barely listenable for me. It gets annoying after a short while.

I wonder what's the lowest Year-End position a non-American Idol #1 hit has ever had... ๐ค

I wonder what's the lowest Year-End position a non-American Idol #1 hit has ever had... ๐ค Since 2000? I think 3 by Britney Spears was screwed between years (#88 in 2009, #69 in 2010), but in a single year? Hold It Against Me by Britney Spears (#60 in 2011). Poor Britney

Arthur's Theme was #98 on the 1982 Year-End after being #64 for the 1981 one. Dirty Diana was #61 for the 1988 Year-End one.

To be exact, my numbers put it at number 66 based on last year's list. If its total of both its charting years are counted, it would be around number 38.

I was thinking of Taylor Hicks' "Do I Make You Proud?" which was #99 in 2006, but I remember he's also an American Idol winner too.

Not at all, the song grew on me a lot. Still mid for Travis standards though after a relisten itโs fine but the worst of his big hits I'd take it over BUTTERFLY EFFECT any day tho. I know that wasn't really a big hit on the charts but it was a hit on the rap charts.

Is anyone familiar with the song Roses by Saint Jhn? If so, can anyone tell me why it's a hit in the UK and not charting at all in the US.

^The main reason it hasn't charted yet is the Lil Uzi Vert album bombs the last two weeks.

I will understand how a black hole works before I understand the hype behind Lil Uzi Vert. Anyway, how high are Blinding Lights changes to go to nr 1 next week? Pretty high. Hurray you were right!

Blinding Lights is now #1. This is a good week. Now we just need to push Donโt Start Now up to #1 next week.

"Suicidal" is a guilty pleasure for me. Likely because I've been hearing it on Tik Tok too lol. By next week, based on tanooki's predictions, "RITMO", "Intentions", and "Say So" are all locked on the 2020 YE.

Pretty much. rimetm analyzed my current prediction and came up with this: By Next Week Homesick Ritmo In Two Weeks Godzilla Intentions You Should Be Sad In Three Weeks Say So In Four Weeks I Hope In Five Weeks Slide In Six Weeks Sum 2 Prove What She Wants Tonight which would lead to a nice 50 songs being locked by week 26
