^It does have 2 more weeks to chart, but they probably won't resolve the issue. My predictions have that calculated in - if it remains stable those last two weeks and the cutoff is as low as I'm guessing, it might barely slip by. Those are two big if's, though. Ideally, it'd need a third week for me to somewhat consider it safe-ish.

It would be horrible if RUSS makes the YE list, but More Hearts Than Mine misses.

Ugh this is scary. Is More Hearts than Mine locked or will it barely miss the cut-off? After doing some analysis, I found that the cutoff for the next few months will likely stay at 1700 points in my 2020 year end predictions. Even if More Hearts Than Mine stays at its current spot, it will just fall short of that 1700 point cutoff. The song is dropping on the charts though (although not as fast as I thought it would due to its large radio loses), so it should make it to 20 weeks. That puts it at around 1650 points for me, a projected position of #105, which means it will just miss the 2020 year end list. However, the cutoff could go down to that level if the charts stay weak and very few projects and songs get released from now on. I originally thought the cutoff would go down to 1600 points, but a bunch of new album and song releases seems to be keeping it afloat at 1700 points.

also, now that come thru is the only unlocked song from 2019 left, it's time for a final caught between years count with where they'd have placed in 2019
Lover - 27,443 (63) On Chill - 27,312 (63) Even Though I'm Leaving - 26,661 (65) Graveyard - 20,258 (82) Playing Games - 20,247 (82) Take What You Want - 20,055 (83) Heat - 19,217 (84) Kinfolks - 18,621 (88) Time - 18,034 (92) Vibez - 17,908 (93) Camelot - 17,691 (93) Prayed For You - 16,875 (97) 223's - 16,574 (97) I Don't Know About You - 16,374 (100)

OUT WEST managed to surpass my expectations and rise up to #60 this week, making its chances at the YE more likely Considering it's still rising on the radio, it might be able to avoid going recurrent. Even an extra week would push it past the final projected cutoff. so I guess you could say that itโs 2sa

Could Highest In The Room potentially hit Top 50 with this extra week it just got?

i think that More Hearts than Mine will have about the same or a very slightly lower point total this year that Eyes on You did last year, but considering we don't know where the cutoff is yet MHTM might not get as lucky as EOY did to have a year end spot due to the low cutoff last year

But this is due to a formula change I made sometime in March due to how weak the charts are right now. If I stuck to the old formula, More Hearts Than Mine probably would have likely finished around where Eyes On You was.

Just time to post the May 9 chart, but look at that point gap between #50 & #51. Not a single track has points in the 1700 range. So year-end cut-off could be anywhere in the 1650-1800 range.

I Love Me's chances of making the 2020 year end list are done, it's starting to collapse hard on the radio.

Hey, I got an idea. How about I speculate what songs will hit the top 40? I'm gonna do that.
FUTURE TOP 40 PREDICTIONS:
After a Few Before You Go Heartless (the Diplo one) Here and Now If the World Was Ending Ride It. Supalonely Walk Em Down

If Walk Em Down does manage to sneak in (early to tell but still), thatโd be 5 songs for Roddy in the YE (The Box, Ballinโ, High Fashion, Walk Em Down, and Iโd be very surprised if Rockstar doesnโt make it given how stable it is on streaming). And he still has half the year to go (and an apparent song w Drake otw). Pretty damn impressive for someone whoโs just having their first year of being โrelevantโ in the mainstream
