May be a bit early to ask, but I’m wondering if WHATS POPPIN could maybe finish YE Top 10, at least if the Bieber remix does well?

I would think that remix would only give it a short term boost, a few weeks max. A similar situation that comes to mind is when Perfect had the Perfect Symphony come out.

May be a bit early to ask, but I’m wondering if WHATS POPPIN could maybe finish YE Top 10, at least if the Bieber remix does well? Under my predictions, if every song on the charts had the same amount of points for the rest of the year, this would be the final top 20.
1 Blinding Lights 12872 2 The Box 12049 3 Circles 11600 4 Rockstar 10725 5 Don't Start Now 9908 6 Life Is Good 8636 7 Savage 8506 8 Say So 8434 9 Adore You 8264 10 Intentions 7449 11 WHATS POPPIN 7280 12 The Bones 6800 13 Falling 6711 14 Memories 6490 15 Blueberry Faygo 6409 16 Roses 6244 17 Someone You Loved 6099 18 I Hope 5834 19 Dance Monkey 5509 20 Toosie Slide 5423
In this scenario, WHATS POPPIN would just miss the top 10. There is a small chance it could still get there though under the right conditions.

Out of curiosity, I decided to make a quick check, and if every song on the charts so far would complete their run in the same position as they are now, the cutoff seems to fall at around 155.000 points. It won't really affect my predictions (I'll do a proper update when we're at 39 weeks, at which point I'll put the cutoff at the 75th biggest song so far), but it would mean Tusa, Kinfolks, OUT WEST, BEST ON EARTH, More Hearts Than Mine and (sigh) I Don't Care would be on the year-end I did the same thing you did and I got a cutoff of 1,600 points, with all the songs you mentioned above also making the 2020 year end list.

I decided to go back to the 2019 year end predictions to see where our most reliable predictors (rimetm, lights, and spicymapping) at this time of year (week 35) had the song that turned out to be their final projected lowest song that had already finished its chart run at this time of year. In both rimetm and spicymapping's case, Beautiful by Bazzi and Camila Cabello was the lowest song on their final lists that had completed its chart run by July 20, and both had it at #71 by week 35. In regards to lights, I can't find anything from him before the end of the year that included the week of November 24, so I'll have to work with what he had for the July 27th week since that would have been the 35th week of the year had 11/24 not been included - in his case the "cutoff" song was Trip at #69 but on his final predictions he ended up putting that above Robbery which was #68 on the 7/27 predictions, presumably due to a formula change.
I'm going to use this information to create a chart of all songs currently percieved to be on the borderline of making the YE and whether or not they pass the 2019 bottom-of-chart cutoffs of all three predictors above (for Tanooki I'm going to be assuming the same cutoff that rimetm had last year, since fhas was involved in the point systems of both predictors and both are the only ones to use real points)
Borderline song | lights (c/o: #69) | tanooki (c/o: #71) | spicymapping (c/o: #71) Juicy | #61 | #60 | #69 Slide | #62 | #65 | #67 Tusa | #63 | #67 | #74 OUT WEST | #64 | #70 | #70 Even Though I'm Leaving | #65 | #62 | #68 BEST ON EARTH | #66 | #68 | #76 More Hearts than Mine | #67 | #73 | #71 Kinfolks | #68 | #69 | #78 I Don't Care | #74 | #72 | #79
from this we can draw the conclusion that Juicy, Slide, OUT WEST, ETIL are above the 2019 bottom-of-chart cutoff for all three predictors and so will all probably make it onto the 2020 YE, Tusa, BEST ON EARTH, More Hearts than Mine, and Kinfolks all being above or at the cutoff of two of the three predictors while the other predictor has it below, meaning that all four will be closer to a toss-up on whether they will make the final list, and I Don't Care is below the cutoff for all three, meaning that it will probably not make it.

I feel like Gooba should be in the toss up with the album still not here yet, if it spends too much time at the bottom not allowing it to re-enter for the album then it’ll be more unlikely

If he doesn't survive then it will only be there for one week if there's 6ix9ine album bomb

I can actually see Be Kind rebounding a bit after all of the album bombs considering the airplay and a bit of on demand streaming so I would put it in Toss up

I figured I might as well show what I've got - though yeah, TROLLZ is most likely going to be gone next week and I don't see it recovering even if it does somehow survive the Juice WRLD bomb (but hey at least Nicki has another number one hit am I right). I'm really sad to see After A Few's dropping, though, I really like it and I was hoping it'd be able to scrape by. My biggest curiosity right now is which songs will be the winners when both bombs fall off on the first of august. I'm going to predict ily to be one of them, just because I have a hunch about it. I also predicted WHATS POPPIN, Sunday Best, death bed, Before You Go and Supalonely getting big so a 4/5 isn't bad, and Supalonely might still make the year-end if it can survive the Juice bomb and recover afterwards. 71 Mariah Carey - All I Want For Christmas Is You 196.430 72 Young Thug ft. I'm going to use this information to create a chart of all songs currently percieved to be on the borderline of making the YE and whether or not they pass the 2019 bottom-of-chart cutoffs of all three predictors above (for Tanooki I'm going to be assuming the same cutoff that rimetm had last year, since fhas was involved in the point systems of both predictors and both are the only ones to use real points) Borderline song | lights (c/o: #69) | tanooki (c/o: #71) | spicymapping (c/o: #71) Juicy | #61 | #60 | #69 Slide | #62 | #65 | #67 Tusa | #63 | #67 | #74 OUT WEST | #64 | #70 | #70 Even Though I'm Leaving | #65 | #62 | #68 BEST ON EARTH | #66 | #68 | #76 More Hearts than Mine | #67 | #73 | #71 Kinfolks | #68 | #69 | #78 I Don't Care | #74 | #72 | #79 from this we can draw the conclusion that Juicy, Slide, OUT WEST, ETIL are above the 2019 bottom-of-chart cutoff for all three predictors and so will all probably make it onto the 2020 YE, Tusa, BEST ON EARTH, More Hearts than Mine, and Kinfolks all being above or at the cutoff of two of the three predictors while the other predictor has it below, meaning that all four will be closer to a toss-up on whether they will make the final list, and I Don't Care is below the cutoff for all three, meaning that it will probably not make it. Yeah my predictions were a bit messy last year since my account on here couldn't get verified before August, I wasn't counting the 24/11 week in the predictions I posted weekly, only adding it as a scenario at the end, and as you discovered I did boost the points for the early charting songs later in the year (which turned out to be the correct thing to do, in fact I didn't boost them by quite enough). Looks like you figured it out though.

Using the same idea, I somehow have Miss Me More at #100 last year and it was also #71 after 35 weeks. Juicy: #60 Slide: #65 Tusa: #68 OUT WEST: #70 Even Though I'm Leaving: #63 BEST ON EARTH: #71 More Hearts Than Mine: #72 Kinfolks: #69 I Don't Care: #74 Basically all songs except More Hearts Than Mine and I Don't Care are above my cutoff; this gives, percentually, Juicy, Slide, OUT WEST and ETIL a 100% chance, Tusa, BEST ON EARTH and Kinfolks a 75% chance, More Hearts Than Mine a 50% chance of making it with I Don't Care not making it at all... assuming the cutoff for this year is the same as last year. So I guess they'd be in the "probably", "likely", "toss up" and "not going to happen" category for each group.

how insane would it be if Ridin’ Roads made the year end list Looking more possible than ever now. This is the state we are at in 2020 (and I thought 2019's cutoff was insanely low).
PS: I remember when Even Though I'm Leaving dropped out and everyone was worried it would miss the 2020 year end list (be caught between years), yet now we're all almost sure it will make the list and we are now rooting for More Hearts Than Mine (a song that would have had no chance even last year).

I still don't think it's going to happen, its chart run wasn't even that good, not all of its 20 weeks counted towards the 2020 chart year, and most of its weeks were near the bottom of the chart, so even if the cutoff is really low and it charting early on in the year gave it way more points than it would have if it had the same chart run later in the year, I strongly doubt it would happen. However, the fact that it's even a *slight* possibility is just insane

But yeah it's insane how it even has a chance.

However, the fact that it's even a *slight* possibility is just insane I agree, the cutoff will most likely end up somewhere between Kinfolks and I Don't Care. But yeah it's insane how it even has a chance. honestly I’m hoping a miracle happens and that aggregate chart points increase monumentally for the last few months of the year and/or that we get a huge barrage of new songs in the fall so that we don’t have to see either Kinfolks or I Don’t Care on the list

Here's a list of every charting song that I'm tracking that has not locked yet and what I think its chances are for making the 2020 year end list.
Slightly Unlikely:Be Kind
I can actually see Be Kind rebounding a bit after all of the album bombs considering the airplay and a bit of on demand streaming so I would put it in Toss up It's bleeding on the radio now. If it does manage to stay long enough on the charts to make the list, it will be purely due to streaming.

^Yeah. Halsey's most recent songs have been sadly been dropped relatively quickly by radio. It would need a Fortnite-event type boost for streaming, since it wasn't even in Streaming Songs last week.

Halsey could actually also be a good choice for a Fortnite event ^^

Year-End update! (July edition)
Welcome back to my particularly crappy predictions! While everyone else has their own complex point system, some of them using inverse points, I have my own crappy point system!
In case you forgot: 1 = 10 2-3 = 9 4-5 = 8 6-10 = 7 11-15 = 6 16-20 = 5.5 21-25 = 5 26-30 = 4.5 31-40 = 4 41-50 = 3.5 51-60 = 3 61-70 = 2.5 71-80 = 2 81-90 = 1.5 91-100 = 1
Projected cutoff = 53.5 Tracking cutoff = 20
