Is this song s "Havana" retread? Yes.
However, it's keeping her career afloat, which is good. I wish "Living Proof" was the single, but this was a better choice. It makes sense that its hitting number one because of previous callouts & sales/streams. It took forever to get here, but at least it's not as slow as country or AC.

I think that with the remix, the new video, and the upcoming performance on the KCA this has a final shot at making the Hot 100 top 10 for the week ending 5/16. I'm predicting the #9-10 region.
It seems that "Righteous" by Juice WRLD (which is predicted to debut top 10) will probably fall, allowing room for this to enter.
Let's hope at least !

As soon as the movie industry goes back into business I assume they will wrap it up. As for the rest of this era, its hard to predict. Everything depends on the movie. They can't reschedule the tour until they have a filming and a film promo schedule and they won't have that until things go back to normal. I think if things were normal they could get another single out of the album but its hard to tell with everything else going on. |

leonagwen I saw that post before you deleted it. I didn't even @ you in my previous comment about users being childish, you made that connection yourself, congrats. I bought both of Cabello's LPs, I think she is talented and enjoy her work. My problem has nothing to do with her or this song's performance. It has entirely to do with gaga & cabello stans sparring like little kids. You're much nicer than mood24 who almost only posts to put others down. let's settle this: - "my oh my" has obviously been pushed to #1 despite plummeting callouts & streams. however, this push is warranted because it began its run with high sales & streams & its first week callouts were great. - "stupid love" opened with a much larger debut week than "my oh my" did, but freefell after because it lacked a modern sound & had bad callouts & streams. This is literally making pulse less fun to visit. We all need an escape right now, but having to avoid some threads solely because of wild fans sucks. Look at the "Say So" post: it was normal until the Nicki Minaj remix was announced, and the cattiness is now rising. *exhales*
