HITS says a surprise release is coming 12/20. Any bets? It's Eminem hence "superstar rapper", they had an article about this last Monday but deleted it instantly. Did they confirm Eminem or just say superstar rapper? |

I’m happy for a boost for “Hate Me”. I know Ellie Goulding is not the most exciting pop singer to stan, but “Halcyon” is incredible, sue me. I wish that it would’ve soared because of TikTok blowing it up even more and not because Juice WRLD passed.
Also, I will SCREAM if AIWFCIY blocks Lucid Dreams.

You guys do realize that both Heartless and Circles has way more Spotify streams than Mariah did and they both were higher than her in Apple Music yet Mariah still ended up #1 overall on Streaming for the week.

But "LD" will continue to outpace "AIWFCIY" in Spotify the rest of this chart week, so the lead you mention will be greater than 400k. And Mariah is way behind on Apple Music. Mariah is likely way ahead on Amazon Music. Not sure about YT. "AIWFCIY" will likely lead in sales and airplay, though, so it might only need to be fairly close in streaming anyway. |

For Juice to keep get as many streams as Heartless, he’d need to average ~1.9m streams per day. The day’s after X died, Sad! Decreased by ~25%, ~13%, and ~12%.
He would need more than Heartless to overcome Mariah. Much as I hate to say it, I don’t see him doing it.

I really don't need multiple weeks of a Christmas-themed #1... AIWFCIY is the best xmas song for sure but for it to spend 3 weeks atop the Hot 100 and block a respectable rapper from getting a post-humonous #1 just feels.. Not fair?
2019 is pretty much over and I'm looking forward to what 2020 has to offer... Til then, the charts will be annoying for now

We're also talking like it's a guaranteed race between "LD" and "AIWFCIY." "Circles" was ahead of "AIWFCIY" this past chart, and it will have about the same airplay it had last chart. If its sales and streams stay steady, it could move back to #1.
