God exists, and this is His gift to us. Thank You for giving us Lewis Capaldi. He's a very fun personality, and Someone You Loved is one of the greatest song ever. BTW, I do think Someone You Loved will have a huge SD on Rankdown. imma just say right now that i predict it'll land at 64 bruh

" I am a beast, you cannot tame it Don't point a finger, this s**t can get dangerous" RECOMMENDED FORM OF HELL: Not even sure where to even start to be honest, I feel like I'm about to be gunned down in a drive-by shooting... maybe you could get hoisted by your own petard and fall victim to what appears to be your favourite pastime. Why are the Ed Sheerans still in... "I Don't Care" will be leaving soon, no worry about it (it's generic and bland, but seriously overhated). Meanwhile, the other song can stay as long as it wishes - one of my personal favorites of the year π

Well, thanks for starting without warning me first:
Also, I suspect I know what the #100 song is seeing it going kaput on the country and pop rankdowns the SAME DAY.
100. Eyes on You---And that wasn't it. I found this song as generic a country song that made the 100 best songs as anything else this year. Its existence is its own hell. There ARE worse country songs this year, ya know?
99. Knockin' Boots---That's not it either, but this was the worst country song that did make the year end. I guess Friday Nights aren't just for football and movies, huh Luke? Ed Sheeran did this one better and it was called Shape of You. His punishment should be stuck listening 24/7/365 to a loop featuring him trying and failing to rap.
98. Girls Like You---Nope. Much like how Kendrick saved Bad Blood, Cardi B and her verse saves GLY from being a bottom 5-10 song. I guess their hell should be to watch their Super Bowl performance on an endless loop?
97. Talk You Out of It---Not it either. This suffers from mealy-mouth production leaving with a meh feeling. At least this isn't a career worst...their hell should be being rejected by all women from perfect 10s to perfect 0s. What's a perfect 0, you ask? Dunno, I'm not in hell.
96. The Git Up---And there we go. Although I think this is more likely the new Macarena in that it'll take over as the dance sensation that anyone can do at weddings (don't worry, there'll still be room for that Electric Slide). His hell should be being stuck on an endless tour with Los Del Rio as they both try to cash in on their one hit...and get booed for everything else by restless crowds.
95. One Thing Right---Finally, here's my 100. Kane spends most of his time arguing that his character doesn't deserve this woman and considering he's cheated and lied to her...I blame her for sticking around. I find Marshmello more there than actively bad, but that drop was turrible. Kane's punishment is to have his voice permanently stuck in that autotune.
94. Baby Shark---Alright, I give up. What was with the Jaws theme in the beginning? It had nothing to do with the rest of the song. And although the harmonies are fine, I could have written better lyrics for this in my sleep. At least it was short? Pinkfong's hell should be opening for Blanco Brown and Los Del Rio on that tour.
93. Swervin---A case where the background music is the only redeeming feature of a song. The lyrics quickly dive off the cliff to hit the rocks below. Boogie's already serving his hell now where he's forced to team up with every musician of dubious reputation (Chris Brown is likely next!).
92. Robbery---The piano was fine, but everything else about it screamed Lucid Dreams was my best song...and only one anyone will remember after this year. Juice's hell should be being forced to remember all his past loves on an eternal loop.
91. Envy Me---Yeah, should have said I was one of those to boost it. The lyrics were cliches, but the delivery was OK and it knew well enough not to overstay its time on the stage. Calboy's hell is a one way trip to Alaska...wearing the clothes on his back.
90. Leave Me Alone---Those lyrics were dumb and the electronic bleeps and bloops annoyed. Flipp's hell is not being able to convince anyone that his song existed (imagine Yesterday). Every time he asks Alexa or Siri, he ends up with Michael Jackson's song.
89. Taki Taki---The one good thing about this song was Selena Gomez. Their hell would be being stuck with listening to Selena's live performances on an endless loop.
88. Worth It---The delivery isn't half bad here and the message was fine, but could have done without the autotune. Much like Flipp, YK Osiris's hell would be trying to prove that his song existed. Instead, he'll be forced to hear Fifth Harmony's Worth It.
87. Someone You Loved---I did overhate it on its own thread. Truth is that production wise, it was fine. But the lyrics killed this one sending endless reminders of James Bay's Let It Go. Lewis's hell should be having rugs pulled out from under him all day and night.

No that is not a joke ranking, I legitimately think this kinda goes hard. You know what goes hard? Kids Bop's version of Party Up.

Well those were some unexpected reveals, especially the bottom 2. Definitely not gonna complain about any of them though, the only one I like is Swervin which is a banger.
Also I love the visuals youβre using for the rankdown. They look so cool

Okay, I donβt care about most of the songs that have exited, but Iβm disgusted that my #100 is above some of these. Then again, Iβve gotten used to you guys being this way. :sip2:

Well, I'll be damned, it's finally happening. {WELL, WE'VE GOT A LOT TO TALK ABOUT}#100: Not the most ideal start, but sure. this works as a #100. More important, though, is what ISN'T #100...both good and bad. #99: "Eyes on You" is bad, but this is awful. I really wish Luke Bryan would just go away already. #98: Hahahahaha, this is below "Baby Shark", I LOVE it. I don't love missing out on two perfectos, but hey, I'll take this going out now, as opposed to after the bottom 20 has been revealed. #97: This probably should be in my bottom ten, but isn't. I'm tired of Florida Georgia Line, too, though Luke Bryan's mere existence bothers me far more. #96: In a year with Luke Bryan being his insufferable worst and "Girls Like You" still existing, this was the most egregious and biggest waste of time among this group of songs by a large margin. It's soulless, pandering, transparently corporate garbage that is desperate to capitalize on the success of a much bigger, better song. This could not be any more manufactured if it tried to be. I would rather listen to "Body Like a Back Road" over this, because, even though I can't stand that song, at least it feels somewhat organic. #95: Look, there's some country songs here that I genuinely hope do not go out this early. The songs that are going out first are not among them. Of course, calling this "country" is a big stretch. #94: On one hand, I can't understand what would compel someone to rank this top ten. And yet, on the other hand, I just can't bring myself to hate this. It wasn't meant for me, so why should I pretend that it was? #93: Any other feature than Voldemort Jr., and I would have ranked this significantly higher. To say that Tekashi ruins this song would be a vast understatement. #92: I think it's entirely possible that time will be kind to this song. I wouldn't say we're at that point yet, though. #91: Not very good...but "worst rap song ever"? It's not even the worst rap song here! #90: What the hell is this doing out before a certain song in my bottom five? (And it's not my #97.) #89: Literally every single part of this song fails at what it's trying to accomplish. It's kind of fascinating, actually. #88: Completely sunk by its vocal performance, though I get the sense that this is an "acquired taste" kind of situation. #87: Before the bridge, I would say that this is a bottom 20, maybe bottom 30 song. It's not great, but I've heard worse. But that bridge...holy crap. You want to talk about sinking a song? That is "the chorus of 'Look What You Made Me Do'" levels of sinking a song. That bridge pushed an otherwise overly mediocre song into "worst songs of the year" territory in record time. #86: Frankly, I'm surprised this didn't go out sooner.
My #96 has already overstayed.

The bizarre and unexpected bottom 5 and the fact that YNW Murderer isn't out yet says a lot about how much Pulse's taste has changed in the past 2 years.

The bizarre and unexpected bottom 5 and the fact that YNW Murderer isn't out yet says a lot about how much Pulse's taste has changed in the past 2 years. its only bizarre and unexpected because the bottom 10 usually has a bunch of great songs and this time it had Chase Rice instead
