No Guidance's longevity truly baffles me, especially given the artist involved. In regards to Chris Brown yes, but as for Drake it's just business as usual. I know... I don't mind Drake. I don't get his massive appeal and popularity, but he has some pretty good songs. However, out of all the artists he could have given a hit, he just had to go with Chris Brown. I'm not American, but I feel second-hand embarrassment and pity for America, who decided to keep him relevant over Usher, Ne-Yo, Jason Derulo, Jeremih, Mario, or literally any other male RnB act not repeatedly involved in domestic abuse. And they happen to be much more talented and charismatic as well, especially the first three.

tanooki Just asking, why do you post every chart in this thread? I feel like a lot of these charts ("Christian Streaming Songs", "Tropical Digital Song Sales", etc.) are not that important enough to post here. I'll try to be as respectful and tactful about this as possible, because I know this topic has been the source of debate and much contention for a while, but I do have to say that I strongly agree with Woods. Tanooki, I realize it must be a lot of work for you and previous people who did this to post the charts here, and any hard to get info is appreciated, but it seems to me that the only relevant charts to post in the Hot 100 thread are the Hot 100 itself and its component charts (Radio Songs, Digital Song Sales, and Streaming Songs). Every other song chart is only distantly related to the Hot 100 and are mainly subdivisions of the component charts (i.e. Tropical Digital Song Sales contributes to overall Digital Songs, Gospel Streaming Songs contributes to overall Streaming Songs, etc...). I highly doubt there are many users on this thread itching to see the Tropical Digital Song Sales or the Gospel Streaming Songs charts every week (though if there are please feel free to correct me!). Assuming there are very few to no people who wish to see these more obscure genre charts, and since they aren't directly relevant to the Hot 100 anyway, it does make it tedious to have to scroll through many pages of them, mixed in with other comments and re-postings that may or may not be related to these charts, so why include them, why not spare yourself the extra work? Or why not post them in their own separate thread, such as "Weekly Miscellaneous Billboard Charts," for example, so the people who do want to see them can find them more easily, and the people who don't want to see them can ignore them more easily? Seems like a win-win for both parties. I think this actually used to be done here on Pulse, and I think I've seen it on other message boards as well.

I think having all the charts for a given week in one place is cool, it makes it easy for someone to reference them all at once without having to go to different threads. That being said, perhaps having them in spoilers would allow people who don’t like them to scroll easily without removing them altogether.

I don't mind them necessarily however an easy middle ground could be the use of spoilers. It would take up less space and you could reasonably edit them all into one post.

Empress, I actually LOVE all the charts posted at the tail end of long threads. (Particularly now that a Paywall restricts that info to most of the public.) As random as some of these charts are, they all feed into the Hot 100, thus relevant in a way, and great to have all in one place.
Also we have had competing weekly Hot 100 threads dedicated to the minutiae in the past and it's been a logistical nightmare to navigate with people regularly posting in the wrong threads.
As long as this weekly info dump appears at the end of the thread as a sort of 'catch all wrap up', I vote to keep going.

^Here's a tip to view any paywalled Billboard chart or article: You need to stop loading the webpage so that the paywall chart doesn't get to appear.

I feel like a lot of these charts ("Christian Streaming Songs", "Tropical Digital Song Sales", etc.) are not that important enough to post here. I post all charts for the notable components and any chart relating to the hot 100 (like recurrent and stuff). I post all song charts for pop, country, rock, hip hop/r&b, dance, latin, and Christian, along with the respective album charts in the Billboard 200 thread. I think a better idea would be a new thread for the charts instead of spamming this one

No, he made a separate thread for posting the "highlights" but everything was still posted in the hot 100 threads. The only thing I do differently is 1. not make that highlight thread which I might do anyway, and I put the album charts in the billboard 200 thread
