gigantic word wallAmerican Idiot : 20 ![(rofl)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/rofl.png) This wouldn't be one of my favorite songs of theirs, but it's one of their most listened to overall. There are a number of songs in their discography that I'd probably put Top 5 here. I should do my own Top 10 songs list on them one day.

Bro! How could you all kick out Pennywise so early at #29? Eh. It’s ok.
I appreciate Pennywise for being a tremendous influence on punk music over the last 30+ years, but let’s be honest. Their music has rarely changed since then and after hearing one Pennywise album, you’ve heard pretty much all of them.
I just love this song nevertheless. If we were ranking any other song of theirs, my ranking might be in the 20s or 30s to be honest.

The Used actually seemed to catch fire towards the end of their journey, but end up at #27.
The Used is another band that I loved at the beginning of their career. This is certainly one of my favorite songs from them of all-time. Their self-titled and “In Love and Death” were fantastic albums, but they haven’t really impressed me since. However, the couple of new songs they’ve released from their upcoming album have been the best that I’ve heard in years. Very excited about it!

blink-182’s “Carousel” stops here literally at #26. I’m kind of surprised that some of you ranked this as high as you did to be honest. This song is from their first (or second?) album “Cheshire Cat” and “Buddha” (which is arguably their first album or…. Is it?) Obviously, you can tell that the quality is very unproduced compared to their material since they broke out over 20 years ago.
Blink-182 was seriously my favorite band going back about 20 years ago while in 10th grade. As I said in the New Found Glory reveal, I was incredibly into the early 00’s pop-punk trend and they were leading the way for it. As I’ve gotten older though, they’ve appealed less to me over time with their immature lyrics and cliched “oh oh oh oh” in many of their later songs. Also, unpopular opinion, but as much as I love Matt Skiba from his time in Alkaline Trio, Tom’s voice was probably the biggest reason why I loved Blink.
I still come back often to their early albums such as “Cheshire Cat” and “Dude Ranch” and certain songs from their later albums prior to the break-up often. Actually overall, I still love their self-titled and that’s probably my favorite album of theirs as it’s more mature and has diverse sounds.
“Neighborhoods” has it’s good moments and not so good. I wasn’t so much into the two “California” albums, but actually do enjoy their new one “Nine.” Seriously, people. They chose by far the worst songs on the album to be singles. There are some gem album tracks that are worth hearing.

The problem with "Carousel" for me is the problem I have with Cheshire Cat, and it's not really the fault of the album: It's not Dude Ranch or Enema of the State, and those are the early blink albums that I'm actually nostalgic for. "Carousel", sadly, did nothing for me.
On the flip side, I figured that, if any of my favorite songs would go out early, it would be "Bro Hymn". When I got into "Bro Hymn" is right around the time where I owned Pennywise's album Land of the Free, back when I was really into Pennywise.

Looking back, I’m wondering why I didn’t rank this higher.
Against Me! has become one of my newer favorite bands over the last ten years or so. Their “White Crosses” album really just did it for me and I’ve been a big fan since. They’re very consistent with their material from album to album and haven’t disappointed me yet. 25

This will be a day to forget for A Day To Remember as the downfall for them all starts here.
Similar to Against Me!, they’re one of my newer favorite bands over the last ten years or so. I love their mixture of pop-punk and metalcore as it fits like peanut butter and jelly. I got into them with their breakout album “Homesick” and this song actually was the first that I heard from them. Their last four albums to me have been straight up fire. Unpopular opinion, but “Bad Vibrations” was my #1 album of 2016.
However… after hearing some of their newer material from their upcoming album, I am very nervous for what it will sound like as they certainly seem to be going in a poppier direction. We’ll see...

I’m personally glad that this song was able to reach #23 overall.
Fenix’s TX’s self-titled album came out around the time that pop-punk started breaking out with Blink-182 and New Found Glory in the late-90’s. I thought they’d become big like others that sounded like them as they had that catchy and fun pop-punk sound that was becoming common in that growing scene.
“All My Fault” from that album had minimal success on radio. Their second album “Lechuza” had more of an alt rock and post-hardcore sound mixed with pop-punk, but the only single to hit radio was “Threesome,” which had very low airplay. They broke up after that album was released unfortunately, but I wonder if they had released another album say around 2003, would they have broken out? We’ll never know.
Congrats to @trilogy, rowellfarm490, and Red for clearing your Bottom 10s! Are you guys starting your own secret club without the rest of us now?

The Offspring stared at the fun for too long as they go out at #22. If you look at the movements, it’s surprising at how fast they fell as they were at point at #5 overall.
The Offspring are one of the first bands that I ever got into back in 1994 after seeing the video for “Self Esteem” on MTV as a kid. “Smash” was the first album that I bought on cassette nonetheless. I’m more of a fan of their earlier material and thought they’ve had some respectably good material over the last 20ish years or so. However, they do have a number of songs now that I just don’t care for.
It's been eight years since they’ve released a studio album, so I’ve kind of put them in the back of my mind. Hopefully they finally release a new album again one day as a release date still isn’t confirmed for their newest recorded material. It has been completed for over a year, but there’s been lawsuits and such.
Congrats to Lordef†ones for clearing your Bottom 10.

Well, "White People for Peace" is out earlier than I expected. I re-listened to "The Downfall of Us All" specifically for this rankdown, and I was shocked by how dated the song sounded in comparison to when it was first released. It's not a bad song still, but...yeah. @trilogy gg (oh, can't forget rowellfarm490) "Staring at the Sun" is a decent Offspring song, but I've heard better from them. Bet you were expecting me to rank "Hammer to Fall" higher, eh? I like "Hammer to Fall" a lot, but it's more of a mid-tier Queen song, to me. Look at gates ranking it top half, though!

Despite making it to the top half, Muse can’t be feeling that good going out at #20.
This isn’t even close to one of my favorite Muse songs, but for some reason, it’s one of their most listened to songs, period. Despite their overall favoritism with music fans with their last couple of albums, I’d love to see them live one day.
I had tickets three years ago to do so, but was unfortunately in the hospital with gallbladder surgery, so hopefully another time.
