If you bothered reading what he said, he said it's okay to talk about ANYTHING as long as it is regarding the Hot 100, which the N word is not a part of. So yes, I agree those types of discussions shouldn't happen here, but you're doing broad strokes and saying anything that doesn't pertain to this particular chart week should be disallowed, regardless of if they pertain to the Hot 100 or not. But if I'm being real, the constant whining about how much people hate these threads has been even worse than the off topic posts.

Bieber will probably be the first non Christmas song to go #1 imo, depending on how good the song is. It could easily be another I Don't Care which performs decently but below the level he's expected to.

Circles is massive but Roxanne has been destroying every other massive smash that's come around. It's outlasted Heartless, Futsal Shuffle, and Everything I Wanted. It's an inevitable #1 at this point.

I could totally see Justin Bieber having a successful era. Hes shown himself to have great longevity in the industry, having consistent success since 2010. And even though its been three years since he had a album, he was the reason Despacito was so huge (it would have only been a mid-sized hit without him i imagine), and "I Don't Care" is the only Sheeran song from his latest album that peaked Top 10. Bieber could easily have major success this year

I will say though, i dont think Bieber will get #1 this week, because Mariah could get 500+ ppints possibly, but i think the week after Bieber could get thw #1. ROXANNE is growing but not at a super fast rate, and Circles is not really moving up or down in points, its just kind of stagnant

Considering how 10,000 Hours hit the top 10 thanks to Bieber's presence, he should be able to nab that #1 hit if it's an upbeat track and drops a lyric video.

You guys forgot about bieber’s failed album in 2014 and then all the publicity stunts. He featured on where are you now which did decent, it hit the top 10. But then what do you mean came out, and his huge success was there from here on out. He was in the top 2 YE charts for 2016. All the stuff he featured on were big hits including cold water and despacito obviously with the latter we all know how big and impactful it was.


He was on i don’t care with ed sheeran, it was one of the biggest hits of 2019. His recent feature which is 10,000 hours hit the top 5 because of his contribution. So in conclusion i think he’ll be more than fine for his new singles

Rihanna seems like shes retired from music and moved to fashion, i think the twitter post was a joke honestly. Adele just seems like shes done with everything. I could see her just enjoying retirememt for the rest of her life. Im sure she doesn't need to make money anymore.....

If she retired then why has she been in the recording studio for the past 4 years? People said the same thing when she didn't drop a year after Unapologetic too since yearly albums were her thing. Might be unpopular but I'm glad she takes her time now since Anti is clearly her best album to date and actually got people to see her as more than a singles artist. 

And I don't think Adele cares when she drops because she knows it'll smash regardless of the wait. For selfish reasons I hope Adele waits another year or two

I think Adele won't release anything soon as well and I don't think there was a true hint as well that she will really this year.

As for Rihanna, we really don't know for sure. Releasing new music will keep her back in the spotlight again and that helps her fashion empire as well. But waiting for a new Rihanna song is fun though lol.
