Post Malone has been caught saying the N-Word, I can no longer support someone who says those kinds of things. Honestly, it's DISGUSTING! Source? The only thing I found was from 2015.

I mean yes, that's the same source I have if you're talking about that Twitter video. I hadn't seen it until today and I was deeply ashamed of it honestly.

I hadn't seen it until today and I was deeply ashamed of it honestly. I was a teenager in the early 2010's when that Post video was filmed and let me tell ya things were a lot different than they are now, it's bizarre how quickly things changed but I remember a lot of my peers were saying the n-word, like it was a cool thing to do, the word was used so damn much, more so than now. I grew up in the MW2/Xbox 360 era where every 12 year old white kid in the world would f**k my mom and call me the n-word whether they thought I was black or not. It wasn't a taboo thing to do despite knowing the history of the word. Not defending these people, but I just wanted to give some history. It was wrong but fortunately things have changed for the better and I hope all this acts as a learning experience for him in the end. FYI I don't believe the Twitter video was from 2015, I think it's a lot earlier judging by the camera quality and how Post looks.

If black people stopped using the n word, I guarantee white people would stop using it gradually. They keep it in the common vocabulary when they use it, even if it’s not as offensive.

I hadn't seen it until today and I was deeply ashamed of it honestly. It's literally just a word. And it was 4 years ago. Who cares, if everybody was ostracized for every bad word they used once or twice in their life we wouldn't have any influential people ever. Anyways back to charts, anyone know what the record is for most songs to fall off a chart in one week? Curious how many we'll see this year.

You know I'd rather not see this discussion happen in this thread, because it's really showing some of the ugly sides of y'all when it comes to the N-word in general. Some of you need to learn to not speak just because you can lol

If you’re not black, go ahead and relax your fingers, step away from the keyboard, and sit this discussion on the n-word out. Your contribution is neither wanted nor needed. Tf

Can you please quit it? You don't seem to be a black person yet you have to most to say about why black people shouldn't use the word anymore. Just stop. Also, this is a thread about the Hot 100. Why the hell is the N word being discussed here? Where are the moderators? Can we bring this thread back to order, PLEASE?

I remember seeing the video in like 2017, I'm shocked that someone dug it up again and now there's more people angry about it lol

6. Report posts that violate board rules rather than responding to them on the board. -- If you see a questionable post that violates any of the above rules or guidelines, you can report posts it by using the Report Post function located at the bottom right of each post. Don't respond to those posts on the board as it'll take discussion further off-topic. Do not abuse this function by reporting posts that simply contain opinions which differ from your own.
Kurt does this work or is it a forgotten feature ?

Only new song in the Spotify Top 50 is a cut off So Much Fun deluxe featuring Trav. Roxanne surpasses FS2020, and a lot of Christmas songs rose.

So anyway, not only do I wonder what the first new #1 of the decade will be, I wonder what the next musical trend is. People have said Billie Eilish may have just become the new trendsetter for what music will sound like going into the 2020s, and dare I say, eff that. One is enough. She's good, but she's a bit of an acquired taste.
Maybe if Trump is actually impeached, fun music can make a comeback? Celebrate good times? Where the bops at?

Roxanne’s rise over the last two weeks has been enough so that if it continues, it surpasses Circles on the 1/11 chart. Other than that, IMO the next best bet is that Bieber song rising after debut week.

Let me just say that I, a young Filipino teen with no black friends whatsover, came to the realization that I should not be saying the n-word just because it's in my favorite songs all by myself. Not because I didn't wanna be labeled a racist, but because I wanted to respect the artist, as well as any other black artist I follow and respect. It doesn't take that much effort to skip a word when singing or rapping a song, trust me.

Think ppl forgot that Uzi's debuts since New Patek are largely fan-supported. He has a huge fanbase but his singles post-XTL mostly deflate a bit after debut

Wow, what a shitshow. Anyway, people are saying 3 weeks for AIWFCIY? I understand now why it’s going to be number one on the week of the 28th but I thought streaming would drastically halt after the 25th. So why are people saying it’s slated for a third week?

Look at what day of the week Christmas falls on and think about your question again. Last year Christmas was on a Tuesday and it still managed 40+ mil streams that week

He has a huge fanbase but his singles post-XTL mostly deflate a bit after debut I think it's unfair to say that given that: A. New Patek was five minutes long and had no music video. B. Sanguine Paradise and That's a Rack both were rush released solely because they had leaked a few days prior (they weren't actual proper singles), and neither got substantial promotion by Uzi. It's also too early to say FS2020 isn't gonna be a hit only a week after its release because we have no idea what songs are gonna pick up after Christmas is over and streaming goes back to normal (and it's still probably doing huge numbers on AM anyways).

Everyone was calling it a quick smash and a major threat for AIWFCIY for the Hot 100 #1 because it was #10 on Apple Music by 8am. Now it's #2 on both major services. All I'm saying is to not be so quick to create a bunch of fanfare because of one day of great activity esp if it's someone with a big fanbase like Uzi lol. Rappers with big fanbases always make splashy first day debuts, it's better to wait the week instead to start declaring anything

I just wanna let you guys know that 95% percent of these discussions could (honestly, should) go in other places. Go migrate to Your Opinion Please have your legend/flop circlejerk there. Has any real discussion about this chart week even happened or are you guys just not even trying?
