Hoping for at least 3-4 songs from Rare can debut on the Hot 100. I would guess (solely from listening to the album)
LYTLM #5
Rare - somewhere in Top 3?!?
LAHN - 60
A Sweeter Place - 70
Crowded Room - 80
Dance Again - 95
Would love to be surprised and see the whole album make it 🥺

ALSO: If you love rock music, there is an awesome instrumental in Cut You Off and it is definitely one of my top 3 favorites from the album, along with People You Know and Vulnerable. |

Life is Good should debut in the top 10. It's still left to see if it'll have any real longevity, but so far, it's getting a great reception online. Rhythmic and Urban radio will start playing it immediately, as they do any single with Drake's name on it. It's #1 on the Rap Caviar playlist, #2 on the New Music Fridays playlist and #8 on the Today's Top Hits playlist (should rise up the list as time passes).
The video is also great. It'll do damage on Apple Music for sure, but I wonder how it'll perform on Spotify.

Life is Good is basically half an average Drake rap song and half a boring Future song. It'll debut in the Top 10 and maybe linger around the charts the same way Yes Indeed did.

First Impressions of Rare: As someone who's not a fan, It's not as boring as I expected? Selena Gomez is still least interesting part of her own music but the writing is a bit more interesting than I'd expect. LYTLM has actually grown on me a lot, I like Dance Again and even Look at Her Now, if it hadn't been for the chorus, it wouldn't be that bad of a song. There's also nothing outright embarrassing as 'Hands to Myself' or as bad as 'Come and Get It'. This certainly feels like her 'Purpose', a stab at being more personal.

I'll wait to hear it but a Normani/Megan collaboration doesn't seem like a very good idea. Normani is very personality-less and boring so paring her with someone as expressive as Megan sounds like a recipe for her being completely overshadowed and a disjointed song overall. Well that went as expected, although with a more annoying hook than I imagined. |

Have conflicted feelings on Diamonds - wouldn't say it's bad but I wish it was better, I think it'll grow on me. Bad bitch anthems are an easy sell for me so it will go on rotation.
Also, is it just me or is anyone else reminded of Missy Elliott listening to Megan? Maybe it's just because they're female rappers from the south but I'm starting to notice it in her flow.

This song had a rough stop then a talk pause by future and then it sounded like a whole different song. A whole ‘had us in the first half’ situation |

Life is Good is more or less a spiritual successor to Grammys, a song with two different beats for both artists that was also separated by Future talking. It's obviously not an attempt to recreate SICKO MODE.

Life Is Good should definitely have a good week, so I’m paying more attention to how well songs like Diamonds or You Should Be Sad are doing, those could really go either way. I’m not *huge* on Diamonds but I want both Normani and Megan to have more success in the future so I hope it does well

That diamonds is going #1 post is going to age bad. The song is okay i guess out of all of Normani's collabs so far I think it's the weakest imo and Normani's personality or lack of thereof simply doesn't match Megan's which makes for song that sounds good on paper but when it comes to execution is a whole different story.

I know Sicko Mode is one of the more popular songs to make use of beat switches, but it's definitely not the first. It's been a thing for several years now. |

Soon It's the busiest time of the year in terms of new hits so I don't think The Box will get that many weeks at #1. It'll be one of the biggest hits of 2020 for sure though.
