I wonder how dance monkey went number 1 literally everywhere except America. It was even number 1 in Canada and the charts are usually similar to the U.S. (except bad guy being in the top 10 for 377 weeks in Canada) Um..we have taste? Personally, I can't stand Dance Monkey.

This would be the 2nd re-entry for When The Party's Over right? Has any other song done anything similar? Actually, it would be its fourth re-entry to the Hot 100. I'm not sure if any song has accomplished that before. Crazy. And people still call her a one hit wonder lol. She proves that peak ≠ hit.

For me, I cannot stand only Tones and I's voice. Everything else was fine.

I think my main problem with Dance Monkey is that it does not make me want to dance, at all. Like I've tried getting into so many times, trying to see what all the hype is about but the beat just isn't propulsive enough.

What a time to be alive! A resurgence to "when the party's over", "bad guy", and especially "everything I wanted", "Blinding Lights" and "Adore You" keep rising, and "Don't Start Now" seems to be cracking the top 10 at long last!
It almost makes up for "Take What You Want" 's inevitable exit this week...almost 😭
Also, the radio charts are finally getting a necessary shake up with the top half on the verge of collapsing in order to give space to the newer hits like "Heartless" and (of course) "Don't Start Now". I'm really hoping Dua manages to get a top 5 peak on radio.

^I hope so on the latter point. It looks otherwise as if Memories will be #1 in Radio Songs for several weeks.

One hour left until everyone loses their collective minds waiting for the top 10 update It's Billboard's fault. They should have a standard time to post the top 10. Look at this mess...

^Yeah. If they had a radio show where a certain part of the chart would be revealed as the Official Singles chart and ARIA Singles chart, they would be required to finalize the Hot 100 chart by a certain time.

Like I've tried getting into so many times, trying to see what all the hype is about but the beat just isn't propulsive enough. I hate the message of Dance Monkey: "I don't care what you want to pay me to hear. I'm going to play what I want to play, and you're going to listen, and pay me for it, whether you like it or not!" Smug, entitled BS. huh that's really not what the song is saying

I wonder what the reason for the delay is now. I'm sure we'll get a tweet by 9 PM about how the chart is delayed because of the Super Bowl, lmao.
