Kind of shocked Godzilla has maintained it's streams so well I'm not that shocked: Eminem's fastest flow to date + a Juice WRLD feature post-death, those alone would attract ears regardless of quality; I knew it was gonna be the viral song when I first listened to the album.

The Grammys really did help Billie Eilish rebound on Spotify. I couldnβt imagine how much her next single will do.

I couldnβt imagine how much her next single will do. her next announced single is that No Time To Die song, idk how far out that is but she obviously has the general public on her side so it should be just fine. In the meantime Everything I Wanted is finally getting its second wind and I am SO happy

If Billie's 'No Time To Die' song were to reach number one, which is in no way guaranteed but is certainly a possibility, it would be the only chart-topping Bond theme other than Duran Duran's "A View To A Kill" in 1985.

Iβm surprised Bieberβs new promo song did so bad. Missed top 40 on Spotify, #36 on Apple Music, and #19 at iTunes. Yikes. Starting to seem that Yummy wasnβt just a badly received one off but a lot of his fan base has actually moved on in general.

But female artists comparable to him such as Ariana, Taylor, heck even Selena, all managed to send a promo singles to nearly 1 million spotify debut (Imagine, The Archer, Look At Her Now, etc). So the comparison is looking pretty bad.

Re: Lil Nas X.. I'm not worried about Rodeo, the ship has sailed for that one. I'd be more concerned about how little boost OTR got from the Grammys - basically none. It shows that general public has moved on from that song and what there is for him next?

It shows that general public has moved on from that song and what there is for him next? I'm not that surprised OTR didn't get any boost. Truth Hurts didn't get much of a boost either and both songs were winners of big awards, not to mention the bigger stories of the night were Tyler, Billie, Demi and the tribute to Nipsey. And I mean, it's not that surprising the public has moved on from that song. I mean, it was already the biggest song of last and outside of performances, Lil Nas X should be focusing on creating new material to gain interest which I'm sure he is.

Lil Nas X will never make a song as a big as OTR, that's for sure. He could make a song that has the same success as Panini though.

Billboard Hot 100 02/08/2020 Early Predictions:Some thoughts: -Idk about Life Is Good's numbers anymore. It could be that BB isn't counting its views from its official music video (which has to be the case since LIG was higher than Godzilla last week on on-demand but lower in overall streams) but I still am. -Everything I Wanted had a music video released, so its YT number shoots up a lot. That along with the Grammy's should easily push it into the top 10. -Tracked some other songs as well for fun. They are not necessarily 11-20. Can radio just decide if it's gonna drop Circles or not already? It has been getting negative updates followed by positive updates for like a week now.

But I thought releasing "Circles trash" was gonna kill Post's career? And now that trash is refusing to leave the top spot on radio and top 10 on Spotify?
Whoa, trash is really overperforming. π€‘
I hope "everything i wanted" gets a new peak (and Dua Lipa too).
I'm still convinced that Lil Nas X was a nice meme that we're gonna leave back in 2019. But he knows the market. Maybe his next lead will do some damage.

He'll probably remain with Lil Uzi-esque power- constant nice debuts and well liked beyond the charts but not that successful aside from his one hit
