The release of Physical has given Don't Start Now a pretty good boost on AM. It only lost two positions in the past 24 hours despite thirteen songs debuting in front of it.

Pretty frustrating that Meghan Trainor is higher on trending despite having far less views in roughly equal hours The order of videos in Trending sometimes doesn't make sense at all. It’s quite literally paid space or whatever they feel like that day, trending has no correlation to anything. Although it is confusing that Tom MacDonald is on it, especially since he’s the guy who did black face that one time for his If I Was Black song. I mean I’ve seen videos released weeks ago with a couple thousand views hit the trending page |

^Yes. In particular, Headline Planet does articles about songs really doing well or poorly from time to time. Especially, if a song gets drop from radio stations unexpectedly.

Have these callout and net positivity things been brought up before? This is all news to me. Radio callouts have always been a notable factor in a song's long-term life at radio. They just don't get discussed in Hot 100 threads (I guess because they aren't directly related to Hot 100 success?). Radio stations pay more attention to local callout scores though, rather than a national callout score. They want to know what listeners specifically in their market are taking a liking to. I'm sure with a score that bad nationally Yummy's local scores won't be much better though. |

I could see Dua Lipa becoming another Robyn/Carly Rae Jepsen...critically adored pop star with a hardcore fanbase that never seems to cross over to the mainstream, leaving most people thinking of them as a one (or two) hit wonder. Not necessarily a bad thing if that happens; Robyn and Carly have had waaaay more longevity than most of their more commercially successful peers. Unlike Carly and Robyn, Dua Lips is a legitimate pop star in other countries |

Listening to the chorus of Physical, it sounds like it uses a sample but I can't figure out from where, any help? Personally I hear Patti Labelle's New Attitude, I can see a mash up done easily between the two songs. |

Physical reminds me so much of Chained to the Rhythm by Katy Perry but I don't mind it because I love Chained to the Rhythm. oh that's a good comparison. i think Physical felt like a more energetic and fast paced CTTR |

I'm really shocked at the amount of success The Box has had internationally. Like usually for a rap song to go viral outside the US, it has to be tied to a dance challenge or is a big single from an already established A-lister like Drake, Eminem or Cardi B.

Streaming has made it easier for rap songs to hit overseas.
As for the Dua Lipa talk... she is not a household name yet, why are you guys expecting a big debut? All her songs have organically grown over time and this one isn't even a radio single yet.
