Wait, when does the tracking for the week start: Monday once the charts are posted, or Friday when the new releases come out?

I don't get the Lil Wayne album release. It was only on YouTube Music, now its removed (guessing they 'leaked' it). Yet everywhere online says the release date is January 31st, and he even tweeted it would be released today on Twitter days ago. Yet the album isn't on iTunes/Spotify/Apple Music yet... Wait, when does the tracking for the week start: Monday once the charts are posted, or Friday when the new releases come out? Friday. It takes them a few days to get the final streaming/sales numbers from every outlet, which is why charts aren't published til Monday (numbers are finalized over the weekend). |

Only songs i see doing good are Dua and Roddy, dont see anything else making much of a impact

New Weezy album out. Will be interesting to see if its success matches his last. I highly doubt it will. The last album rode on the hype of Tha Carter V finally getting released. This album doesn't have that. |

Itβs pretty given this album will do nowhere near Tha Carter Vβs numbers. Tha Carter albums have a following similar to a movie franchise. Whenever Wayne tried to release albums outside them they did considerably less numbers.
Tha Carter III - 1.006m first week
Rebirth - 176k first week
I Am Not Human Being - 110k first week
Tha Carter IV - 964k first week
I Am Not Human Being 2 - 217k first week
Tha Carter V - 480k first week
I will never understand why Carter releases do so much better when itβs not like his music suddenly becomes next level with them but I digress lol.

New album has an XXXTENTACION feature. Officially not interested and not going to bother listening to the entire album now. Can we please stop with these posthumous X features? It was already disgusting with the whole Bad Vibes Forever nonsense last year and pushing past that is beating a literal dead horse at this point!

I really hope if any Dua song gets lost in the promo shuffle itβs Donβt Start Now. Iβm happy for Blinding Lights but my heart canβt take another song lost to the promo cycle

Without having heard the song... no. Meghan in 2020 + Nicki in 2020 doesn't even guarantee that it charts at all. Not dragging Nicki, but she has done so many collabs that her name just doesn't carry the same weight that it used to. I expect Dua to chart below top 50 (and it will probably rebound once they push it to US radio). |

The album rollout for Future Nostalgia has been such a blast to watch. I remember when Donβt Start Now came out I said it was gonna be a hit solely based off of everyone thinking itβs great and thatβs just kinda been the case for the whole album so far. Physical is AMAZING and the music video is insane I hope itβs huge
