Yeah, this was a fun song but I somehow knew the collective tractor taste would send this one straight to the bottom.

In album full of strong songs, "Drink Up" stuck out like a sore thumb. It's a fine song, but with the other songs being what they are, "Drink Up" just couldn't live up to them and went straight to the bottom of my list.

I like the way this rankdown started. The 3 songs that I put at the bottom of my list are just not as good as the rest of the songs on this amazing album.

Find a Way is probably the most forgettable song on the album for me; not bad, just bland. Drink Up has the more memorable concept in comparison.

look at that flawless bottom-3 run! I personally loved her vocal on Home and glad it ranked higher overall than ICYH even if it still left too soon IMO.

Good start.
"Drink Up" is a fine song that's honestly strong enough for most albums to place in the top half but it has the unfortunate luck to be going against such a strong collection.
"Find A Way" is in a similar position as "Drink Up" but I think it fits Trisha a little better is my only reasoning for having it higher.
Those two are the only songs on this album that don't rate at least a 9/10 for me btw.
"I'll Carry You Home" has excellent writing but maybe doesn't have the hooks the other songs have. I had it in my top 5 on some revisions of the list.
"Home" is one of my favorite vocals on the album, I was personally gutted not being able to move it higher.

Just as this was starting off great, I go and lose my #3. Lolwut? "I'll Carry You Home" is easily among the best of this album, and deserved to be in the Top 5.

Started off strong with the correct bottom 2. "Drink Up" is just so generic and faceless, literally nothing else deserved to be last place on this album. "Find a Way" is okay during the verses, but the chorus melody is a little grating to me and it doesn't hold up to repeated listens. The ballad fare on this record is definitely stronger than most of her attempts at 'tempo.'
"Home" is the one loss so far that has me a bit puzzled. I think it's absolutely gorgeous, and I would've never predicted it would come anywhere close to this low. :/

#10 - Love You AnywayWriter: Mike Reid Total Points: 119 Troublemaker - 2 BackwoodsBarbie - 3 born - 3 castleoblivion26 - 6 tim - 8 taylor - 8 SHOOTER - 9 bboat11 - 9 Kanenrá:ke - 9 austin - 11 .indulgecountry - 12 recordyear - 12 fearlessarrow - 13 someguy - 14 We kick off the top 10 with album closer "Love You Anyway". It was in the bottom three for a lot of the submission process, but rose to the top 10 by the end. The fourth (I think) collaboration between Trisha and Don Henley (after "Hearts In Armor", "Inside Out" and, of course, "Walkaway Joe"), it is their first in nearly two decades. Despite my last place rank, I do like the song, even if I find it a little sleepy. The album is just that strong! It was written by Mike Reid, best known for the 1990 #1 "Walk On Faith".

When we return, we will lose our first song with a #1 ranking.

Drink Up sounds like a bad Luke Combs cut. Didn't care either version of Find A Way. The chorus is extremely jarring. Except Something Kinda Like It, the other eliminated songs are very boring. I see why some might not like Something Kinda Like It because her vocal range sounds extremely narrow in that song, but it is real fun.

#8 - Can't Take Back GoodbyeWriters: busbee, Caitlyn Smith, Troy Verges Total Points: 108 someguy - 1 austin - 2 fearlessarrow - 3 BackwoodsBarbie - 6 castleoblivion26 - 7 Kanenrá:ke - 7 bboat11 - 8 .indulgecountry - 9 Troublemaker - 9 taylor - 10 recordyear - 11 SHOOTER - 11 born - 12 tim - 12 Unfortunately for me, my #1 is the first to go as "Can't Take Back Goodbye" exits at #8. This started out looking like a solid top 5 competitor, but slowly slid as lists came in. I'm actually really surprised that this didn't do better here. This is exactly what I think a Trisha uptempo should sound like in 2020, and would be my pick for the second single....if we're ever going to get one.

#7 - Workin' On WhiskeyWriters: Patricia Conroy, Dave Thomson, Jessica Mitchell Total Points: 98 SHOOTER - 1 castleoblivion26 - 1 born - 4 taylor - 4 Kanenrá:ke - 5 bboat11 - 5 tim - 7 fearlessarrow - 7 recordyear - 8 austin - 10 someguy - 11 BackwoodsBarbie - 11 .indulgecountry - 11 Troublemaker - 13 The #1 losses keep coming at #7, as SHOOTER and castleoblivion26's #1 "Workin' On Whiskey" leaves us here. This was the second song made available to listen to from the album (after the single "Every Girl In This Town"). The song was co-written by Patricia Conroy, who had a lot of success as a singer/songwriter in Canada in the 90s and early 2000s, even winning the 1994 CCMA Female Artist of the Year. Most recently, she co-wrote Reba's "God And My Girlfriends". This got off to a rough start here, but eventually climbed into the top half of the finishers on the rankdown with our last two lists received.

Our final song to miss the top 5 features a guest vocalist. Is it the end of the line for Garth Brooks, Kelly Clarkson or Patty Loveless?

Garth Brooks can hit the road cause the other 2 tracks are flawless and 100% belong in this top 5.

Please don't let it be Patty - that song bowing out before the top 5 would be TRAGIC.

If it wasn't the Garth feature, and especially if it was Kelly, I would've been livid! Glad to finally have my #13 out, and here's to a fantastic Top 5! Wouldn't mind any of 'em winning this

That leaves us with the top 5 of.....
Every Girl In This Town Tell Me Something I Don't Know When Lonely Calls The Matador Bible And A .44
The top 3 was pretty far ahead of everything else for most of this rankdown, but would literally change with every list received for most of the submission process. Every song in our top 8 received at least one #1 ranking. We still have one #14 left in our top 5.
