#70 - The Lady Is A TrampWriters: Lorenz Hart, Richard Rogers Position in its original rankdown: 3/12 Total Points: 493 Troublemaker - 50 ccarter1023 - 55 castleoblivion26 - 58 someguy - 62 bboat11 - 63 taylor - 65 tim - 70 .indulgecountry - 70 We kick things off with "The Lady Is A Tramp", which finished at #3 in its Let's Be Frankalbum rankdown. Unfortunately for it, two last places, from tim and .indulgecountry, were enough to sink it to the bottom of the list here. It was a contender for last place for most of the process and, in the end, finished at #70 by only one point.

#69 - They All LaughedWriters: George Gershwin, Ira Gershwin Position in its rankdown: 4/12 Total Points: 492 Troublemaker - 53 someguy - 54 taylor - 57 .indulgecountry - 59 ccarter1023 - 61 tim - 68 castleoblivion26 - 70 bboat11 - 70 Let's Be Frank loses a second song as "They All Laughed" bows out at #69. Like "The Lady Is A Tramp", it also received two last place ranks, this time from bboat11 and castleoblivion26. It too was a last place contender for the whole process, and managed to swap places with TLIAT, which beat it by one position in the album rankdown.

at this finishing at #3 in the whole entire album rankdown only to be last place here It deserves tho. I don't know what y'all were thinking when we did the album rankdown. Edit: This is about "The Lady Is A Tramp". But "They All Laughed" is legitimately terrible, so I'm glad it's out next!

Nothing like getting a perfect ranking right out of the gate! I mentioned this before in the Let's Be Frank album rankdown, but I've never been a fan of the song "The Lady is a Tramp". My favorite version though is probably the Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga duet.

"They All Laughed" > "Tramp" by far, so I'm glad my last minute list helped decide the correct last place.

#68 - WitchcraftWriters: Cy Coleman, Carolyn Leigh Position in its rankdown: 5/12 Total Points: 488 taylor - 37 Troublemaker - 49 bboat11 - 62 ccarter1023 - 66 .indulgecountry - 66 tim - 69 castleoblivion26 - 69 someguy - 70 It's "Witchcraft"'s turn to exit next, as the Let's Be Frank track bows out at #68. This time, I lose my last place ranking, which means that 5 people have now lost their #70 with the first three reveals.

#67 - Come Fly With MeWriters: Sammy Cahn, Jimmy Van Heusen Position in its album rankdown: 6/12 Total Points: 472 taylor - 31 ccarter1023 - 53 tim - 57 castleoblivion26 - 65 Troublemaker - 65 bboat11 - 66 someguy - 67 .indulgecountry - 68 In an interesting turn of events, the first four songs left in the exact opposite order than they did in the Let's Be Frank album rankdown. We had the #3 "The Lady Is A Tramp", followed by the #4 "They All Laughed", then the #5 "Witchcraft" and now the #6 "Come Fly With Me". Their point totals were all very close though, as only 21 points separated #67 and #70. This is our first reveal without a last place rank.

1. Which album/rankdown will be the first to lose all of its songs? Lmao Let's Be Frank, and it won't even be close! Lmao are we gonna go 5 for 5??!?!? I feel like a surprise Christmas song has got to come next tho. Probably "Baby It's Cold Outside".

In an interesting turn of events, the first four songs left in the exact opposite order than they did in the Let's Be Frank album rankdown. It's always interesting to see this happen as it's not necessarily the first time there has been such a discrepancy between the results of an album rankdown vs. the album tracks (George's "Out of Sight Out of Mind" was the highest placing album track from Twang and yet left in the bottom 3 in the album tracks rankdown).

#66 - Reindeer BoogieWriters: Charlie Faircloth, Hank Snow, Cordia Volkmar Position in its rankdown: 8/22 Total Points: 455 ccarter1023 - 33 bboat11 - 47 Troublemaker - 57 someguy - 60 tim - 61 castleoblivion26 - 64 .indulgecountry - 65 taylor - 68 We finally say goodbye to a non- Let's Be Frank track, as our first Christmas song "Reindeer Boogie" exits at #66. The track is from Trisha's first Christmas album The Sweetest Gift. While it didn't receive any last place ranks, it received enough ranks in the 60s to be the definitive first Christmas track to leave.

"Reindeer Boogie" is a legitimate jam. Christmas theme aside, this is a fun song to listen to just because of the way it sounds! I'm not surprised to see it leave now because of the Christmas theme, but I am legitimately shocked that "Baby It's Cold Outside" was able to beat it... That's one of everyone's least favorite Christmas songs in general, plus there's the Garth factor! This one being a groovy original should have given it the edge over that one imo.Edit: We should just forget I keep talking about this

Well since BICO isn't here, it makes MUCH more sense for "Reindeer Boogie" to be the first Christmas song to leave "Bethlehem" and "New Kid" are both fan favorites, "Hard Candy Christmas" is one of Pulse's fave Christmas songs, and "Santa On The Rooftop" is legitimately WAY better than it has any right to be, so I'm expecting that one to last a while longer!

I wonder what bboat11's submission looks like now, like did someguy have to edit out some extra songs? :kii:

#65 - Fools Like MeWriters: Kostas, Hal Ketchum Position in its rankdown: 8/10 Total Points: 427 taylor - 36 someguy - 53 .indulgecountry - 53 bboat11 - 54 castleoblivion26 - 55 ccarter1023 - 58 tim - 59 Troublemaker - 59 We lose our first 'regular' album track, as "Fools Like Me" from 1991's debut album Trisha Yearwood leaves at #65. The song didn't have any major detractors, but almost all of us put it in the 50s, which was enough to let it slide to the bottom of our list. Most other songs, even if they received mostly low ranks, had one or two top 20 placements that boosted it. This one didn't and, unfortunately for it, that's what sank it and allowed it to become the first song from a regular studio album to leave.

Lmao at just about everyone putting "Fools Like Me" in their 50s. None of us hated this song it seems, so it kinda got a bum deal by being the first "regular" album track to leave! This is why album tracks rds are so unpredictable and fun

Aside from Let's Be Frank and the Christmas-themed songs, "Fools Like Me" is actually my second lowest ranked album track so it makes sense that would it be one of the first to exit. This one is fine, but it just doesn't stand out enough of its own for me to have ranked it any higher.

#64 - There's A New Kid In TownWriters: Don Cook, Curly Putman, Keith Whitley Position in its rankdown: 6/22 Total Points: 422 taylor - 20 Troublemaker - 44 castleoblivion26 - 47 bboat11 - 58 someguy - 58 .indulgecountry - 63 tim - 64 ccarter1023 - 68 We go back to the Christmas songs for our next loss. Like "Reindeer Boogie", "There's A New Kid In Town" was included on Trisha's first Christmas album, The Sweetest Gift. This also brings us our first top 20 loss, as it was taylor's #20 ranked song. No one loses their last place, although three bottom 10 ranks were cleared out with this exit.

There are only two versions of "There's A New Kid In Town" that I seek out during the Christmas season and those are by George Strait and Alan Jackson w/ Keith Whitley. Trisha sounds amazing as always, but other than that her rendition really doesn't hold my attention.

"There's A New Kid In Town" is a nice Christmas song because it has a really soothing melody, while also not being over-covered to the point of exhaustion. Trisha's cover is nice! But it makes sense for it to leave now since most of the obvious songs are out already, and I don't see songs like this outlasting many of the regular country songs.

#63 - Hard Candy ChristmasWriter: Carol Hall Position in its rankdown: 5/22 Total Points: 401 castleoblivion26 - 22 someguy - 23 bboat11 - 27 tim - 62 .indulgecountry - 62 taylor - 66 ccarter1023 - 69 Troublemaker - 70 We stay in the Christmas spirit with our next loss, with this song coming from Christmas Together. "Hard Candy Christmas" is always a popular holiday song here, but it couldn't survive the barrage of low ranks that are typically given to Christmas songs. Troublemaker becomes the next person to lose their last place rank, while three of us lose a song from their 20s.

#62 - O MexicoWriters: Michael Joyce, Irene Kelly Position in its rankdown: 8/10 Total Points: 382 .indulgecountry - 21 tim - 25 someguy - 43 Troublemaker - 45 castleoblivion26 - 52 taylor - 61 ccarter1023 - 67 bboat11 - 68 "O Mexico" is the unlikely track to become the second 'regular' album track to leave. The song, included on 1995's Thinkin' About You, had its fair share of ranks in the 60s, as well as a couple in the 20s. This allowed it to stay out of the very bottom, but it was always near the bottom of the pack throughout the submission process.

Dolly's "Hard Candy Christmas" is of course iconic, and Reba will always have my favorite cover of it. That being said, Trisha's version is really nice as well, and definitely one of my favorite tracks on Christmas Together!

Thinkin' About You has long been one of my go-to albums from Trisha because there's a lot of nostalgia wrapped up in that one for me (it was the first album of Trisha's I had ever listened to as a young boy). With that said, this was still in my bottom 2 in the album rankdown so I'm not too surprised that it's exiting now.

#61 - Santa On The RooftopWriters: Annie Roboff, Arnie Roman Position in its rankdown: 4/22 Total Points: 38 someguy - 17 bboat11 - 18 Troublemaker - 40 castleoblivion26 - 53 .indulgecountry - 60 ccarter1023 - 62 tim - 63 taylor - 67 We clear out the bottom 10 with another holiday song, "Santa On The Rooftop". The song, a collaboration with Rosie O'Donnell is from Rosie's first holiday album, A Rosie Christmas. This is notable because the Christmas rankdown is now tied with Let's Be Frank for losing 4 of its 5 songs here. Only "Take A Walk Through Bethlehem" and "Over The Rainbow" remain from either list. This is the first song to leave with multiple top 20 ranks, as both bboat11 and I take a hit to our top 20s.

It came out right around the time that I first discovered country music, and is probably among the first 10 albums that I ever owned.

Like I said earlier, "Santa On The Rooftop" is WAY better than it has any right to be! I knew the Christmas factor would work against it here, but I have no regrets putting it in my top 20! From a melodic and lyrical standpoint, this is a standout!
