"Santa On The Rooftop" is such a bop and one of my favorite Christmas discoveries...can't wait to put it on again this holiday season!

I think I'll stop here for now. If I have time, I may come back on to do a bit more later tonight. It's funny to hear what everyone's first Trisha album was being from earlier on in her career because for me it was Jasper County. "Georgia Rain" was my introduction to her because I really became a country stan around 2003 when I discovered Sara Evans, and that was during Trisha's little career hiatus of course (the first one, lol). And as such that album remains my favorite to this day. I need to get more of her albums though because to this day I only technically own that one, plus HH&TPOL and Every Girl. This rankdown proved that her album cuts are incredible and I need to buy more of her catalog for sure.

"She's In Love With the Boy" was one country song that my mom played constantly when I was a toddler, as it was huge when she herself was 10-11 (yes, my mom is quite young--she'll be 41 this September!), so it was my introduction to Trisha, but the first album of hers that I discovered on my own accord later on was also Jasper County. "Georgia Rain" was the first song I'd heard from it because the title had intrigued me, and oh Lord did it stop me in my tracks. It's easily among my favorite songs of all time, period.

#60 - Woman Walk The LineWriters: Emmylou Harris, Paul Kennerley Position in its rankdown: 6/10 Total Points: 379 Troublemaker - 24 .indulgecountry - 30 ccarter1023 - 39 taylor - 47 tim - 52 bboat11 - 57 someguy - 64 castleoblivion26 - 66 1992's Hearts In Armor takes its first hit, as "Woman Walk The Line" kicks off the top 60 at #60. Interestingly enough, it was tied in points as the second highest ranked album track from that album, but bows out first here. Two top 30 ranks are lost here, as well as two bottom 10s.

Next, we will answer the question of which rankdown will be eliminated first: Christmas or Let's Be Frank.

#59 - Take A Walk Through BethlehemWriters: Ashley Cleveland, John Barlow Jarvis, Wally Wilson Position in its rankdown: 2/22 Total Points: 366 someguy - 8 castleoblivion26 - 41 bboat11 - 42 Troublemaker - 43 taylor - 49 .indulgecountry - 57 ccarter1023 - 60 tim - 66 Unfortunately for me, "Take A Walk Through Bethlehem" is out next, and I become the first person to lose a top 10. The song finished in second place in our Christmas rankdown, and ended up being the highest rank album track from it here as well (which hasn't always been the case). The song is from Trisha's first Christmas album, 1994's The Sweetest Gift. On the opposite side of my top 10 loss, tim loses a song from his bottom 5.

Her version of "Bethlehem" is fantastic... but it's a limited-appeal Xmas song so it still fell near the bottom of my list with a catalog of country songs as strong as Trisha has.

The song was able to make the top 5 in its own rankdown, but is the first song from that album to leave here. .indulgecountry takes the first hit to his top 20, while Troublemaker loses a second song from his bottom 5.

#57 - Til I Get It RightWriter: Larry Henley, Red Lane Position in its rankdown: 10/10 Total Points: 358 taylor - 2 ccarter1023 - 26 Troublemaker - 28 tim - 37 someguy - 61 .indulgecountry - 67 castleoblivion26 - 68 bboat11 - 69 Our next song to leave, "Til I Get It Right", was actually tied in points with our #58, but taylor's #2 rank allowed it to win the tiebreaker and finish higher. It was the last place finisher in its own rankdown, but did much better here. It also proved to be quite polarizing. In addition to taylor's #2 loss, three people lost a bottom 5.

I get why everyone seems to like "Take A Walk Through Bethlehem", but speaking for myself I just have a hard time getting into it. I would likely only ever revisit the song in the event that I would listen to the album its entirety.
The same can probably be said for "Til I Get It Right" as I had actually put that in last place in its album rankdown. But, as I mentioned earlier that is one album that should I ever revisit I usually always listen to all the way through.

#56 - Cowboys Are My WeaknessWriters: Matraca Berg, Gary Harrison Position in its rankdown: 8/13 Total Points: 83 Troublemaker - 6 someguy - 11 bboat11 - 28 taylor - 53 tim - 53 castleoblivion26 - 67 .indulgecountry - 69 ccarter1023 - 70 Another very polarizing song leaves us at #56. "Cowboys Are My Weakness", from 2007's Heaven, Heartache And The Power Of Love was Troublemaker's #6, but also received three bottom 5s, including @ccarter's last place rank. I've always loved it, and think it's a nice fun, light song, but I can see how it might be off-putting for some.

Oh GOOD. I was worried this would overstay. It shouldn't have even been in this rankdown at all as it is absolutely NOT one of the best from HH&TPOL, but I'm just glad castleoblivion26 and ccarter1023 helped me tank this dreck. Easily one of the worst things she's ever done. The melody and those falsetto notes are putrid.

#55 - Over The RainbowWriters: Harold Arlen, H.Y. Harberg Position in its rankdown: 2/12 Total Points: 352 taylor - 6 ccarter1023 - 9 someguy - 33 castleoblivion26 - 49 .indulgecountry - 61 Troublemaker - 62 tim - 65 bboat11 - 67 We clear out our second entire rankdown with this set of reveals, as "Over The Rainbow" from Let's Be Frank leaves us at #55. This probably exceeded expectations, and did as well as a song like this was ever doing to do here. With this loss, both taylor and ccarter1023 lose a top 10, while bboat11 sees his bottom 5 cleared out with this loss. My relatively high ranking on this one isn't due to a replay factor (which, tbh, is quite low for me), but based almost solely on Trisha's vocal performance here. I think this is one of the best I've ever heard her sound.

It's so interesting to me to see how people's opinions on songs shift over time. I've always thought this song as being one of those that if you listen to it in just the right mood you'll enjoy it. It's just one of those kind of songs that I would enjoy listening to on a rainy day or a snowy wintery night.

#54 - You Done Me Wrong (And That Ain't Right)Writer: Pat McLaughlin Position in its rankdown: 9/10 Total Points: 345 .indulgecountry - 29 ccarter1023 - 30 taylor - 39 bboat11 - 40 castleoblivion26 - 43 tim - 45 Troublemaker - 54 someguy - 65 Besides my #65 (which in hindsight might have been a little low), "You Done Me Wrong (And That Ain't Right)" didn't really have low ranks, but it also didn't have any high ranks either (its highest were a couple of low-end top 30 ranks). That ended up being its downfall, allowing it to exit in the bottom portion of the rankdown.

Truthfully, given people's comments and reactions when we ranked this album initially, I thought that its songs would've performed far worse in our album tracks rankdown. "The Nightingale" proved to be another polarizing song here, as taylor loses a top 5, while I become one song away from clearing my bottom 5.

The falsetto is not good and the lyrics are cheesy. someguy - I agree about "Over The Rainbow" being one of Trisha's finest vocal performances.

Aside from tim's #13 placement, it received ranks from most of this in the middle range of our lists. So, while it didn't really have any detractors, it also didn't have a lot of really high ranks to help it out either.

While it was the second highest ranking album track in its album rankdown, here it becomes the second song to leave, after the #60 placement of "Woman Walk The Line".
