Can't believe they had the audacity to upload a mute video!
Still looking forward to it, of course, and I'm loving the vibes of the music video.

Just barely an album; but I love the three songs we've gotten already - so I'm ready to get the rest!

So basically an EP? I guess 24kM had the same amount of songs and was considered a studio album.
I don’t know. I was really excited about this project five months ago, but it has worn off. The last two singles have been increasingly less satisfying than LTDO, imo.

I like “Smokin Out The Window” though the “bi—h line is a little jarring. However I really liked “Skate” but didn’t listen to it much. I’m still interested in the project but not as much as a couple of months ago.

Omg this Album is everything, for me!
Grooves, funk, mellow r&b, instrumentation and vocals. This whole vibe tickles so much of the genre of the music I enjoy. The three singles we’ve gotten blend so well with the rest of the tracks.
If you listen to nothing else, listen to Put on a Smile. That track is stellar and on par with Leave the Door Open, in my opinion.

I wonder if they'll promote any singles after SOTW. Maybe one more like 777 or Fly As Me?
This album is fire!! Makes me hope they work together again in the future.

I don't like "Fly As Me" or "777," but I like the rest. All the slow jams are excellent.

"Skate" is the weak link here. "777" should have been the second single. This album is damn near perfect! My gator wearing uncles are going to love this.

How in the heck did we get Skate as a single over songs like After Last Night & Blast Off? 🤯 i’m sure the album will sell well, but they could have had so much more momentum going into this release.

The album is pretty good, in fact, one of the best albums I've heard this year. My favorites of the new tracks are After Last Night and Blast Off.

I’m so relieved the album as a whole is great. But it makes the last two single choices questionable, as they are among the weakest of the links. I love pretty much everything else.

I really like this. I'm also happy it's quite short - makes a nice change from how inflated albums have been getting recently.
I think it'll do well. "Smokin Out the Window" is looking to become a big hit after "Skate" lost the momentum of "Leave The Door Open". As for any other singles, "Put On A Smile" would be my choice.

Smooth AF from top to bottom. Every song slaps. Will have this on repeat for months to come.

If this album takes kids to the real 70ies funk music, it can be called a success. Otherwise it is a rushed album built around the surprise first hit single. Sorry, but Bruno Mars and his voice can't carry this kind of music for me and as Bruno is a producer(and surprisingly not Paak) to all these tracks, I would have wished for more Paak and less Mars.

I listened to the album. It’s a cute album; however, my major problem that it sounds like I heard it before. It lacks originality even though it will be praised for highjacking old melodies.
I do think they should follow up Open with Window. I really like Smile. I could do without Fly As Me, 777 and Skate.

Thank goodness I’m not in the minority cause this is an ok album. This is definitely the weakest album that Bruno has released yet. I don’t know maybe the 8 months between lead single and album caused my interest to decline but I’m not impressed overall.

Stop this nonsense. This is by far the most masterfully crafted LP in terms of vocals and musicianship either of them released to date. A huge step forward is wrapped in this side project package. A proof they are a great influence on each other in the studio. They’re a whole vibe together. What happens back to back on this record is pure magic. That After Last Night – SOTW – Put On A Smile combo is everything. It makes me more critical of other songs. But without them we would get just an EP or this album in 2025, so no thanks…
Intro – great mood booster for this album. Bootsy the Legend himself introduces them on their album which is a huge honor for them. 10/10
Leave The Door Open – an instant classic, period. 10/10
Fly as Me – nasty from the very beginning. The way Andy raps here reminds me a little bit of Left Eye. I wish Bruno was more present here. 8/10
After Last Night – Calling on My Lovelies’ younger but more sensual sister. Perfect baby-making song. My 2nd favorite on this album. 10/10
Smoking Out The Window – 1st the song they ever created together was like 5 years that set the mood for the entire record. Infectious and hilarious at the same time.
Put On A Smile – hands down my favorite. It made me tear up when I heard it for the first time. So gloomy and depressing. Mars’ best vocal performance to date, but Andy did great with his raspy vocals too. 10/10 777 – sassy AF, but repetitive. Most likely added for the live shows. 7/10
Skate – very summery and playful. Its sound reminds me of MJs Off The Wall era. 7/10
Blast off – so dreamy and ethereal. Perfect send-off where Bruno teases another collab album. The entire LP has some killer harmonies but on this track, they enter another dimension. My third favorite 10/10
