Third single from GIRL. As several people mentioned in the thread for "The Bones," it's been confirmed via Maren on social media.
Label: Columbia Nashville Writers: Maren Morris, Jessie Jo Dillon, Laura Veltz

Label: Columbia Nashville Writers: Maren Morris, Jessie Jo Dillon, Laura Veltz One of my absolute favorite tracks from GIRL, and perhaps from her overall catalog. Perfect blend of production and lyrics. Glad this will be receiving its due.

I remember liking this one when I first heard it but never went back to it, need to listen to it again but I was hoping to see "All My Favorite People" be released because I love that song.

This song is pretty. When I first heard it I never thought it'd be released as a single, but this one has a good melody and steers back into more of a traditional Country sound after the poppy 'The Bones' so I understand why this was chosen. However, they need to push an upbeat song next, this is the third single in a row that is either a ballad or a midtempo. I'd pick The Feels next, as it has the potential to be as big as The Bones with its crossover abilities. All My Favorite People also will easily smash so I'd be good with either.
I hope they go five singles deep because I'd hate to see A Song For Everything miss out its chance to be released (and it'd be a good way to close out the era IMO).

I've commented on this a few times in other threads, but this is a good song and I enjoy it quite a bit and think the chorus melody is pleasing and she sounds great here, so I will be fine with this on the radio. That said, it just doesn't strike me as the smartest move commercially for her to go this route with so many more radio-friendly smashes on the table that already had built-in buzz. I'd love to see this do well and carry her red hot momentum, but this feels like it'll be a single that won't move the needle in a big way.

I like this song, but I think "All My Favorite People" and "A Song For Everything" are both big hits waiting to happen.

I do want AMFP to be a single, but I am fine with this song being a single. Honestly whatever is released to radio from the album would be fine with me

I like this, but it certainly wouldn't have been my choice for the next single. "All My Favorite People", "A Song For Everything" and even "The Feels" feel like smash hits waiting to happen. My guess is that this will be a middle of the road hit for her.

This a very interesting choice for the next single and maybe says more about the current state of country radio heading into the new year (thanks to "More Hearts Than Mine" which I think is going to have a profound effect on the format). I for one wasn't expecting this as the next single, but I'm not going to complain either because I am going to love hearing this one.

I like this but not sure how I feel about it as a single.

This and "Good Woman" keep flipping as my favorites from the album so I'm personally ecstatic for this to be chosen. Sure it's not as obvious a smash as the other choices, but at her show this got some of the best response from the crowd. Well all of the tracks did except "RSVP" but "To Hell & Back"'s response was noticeably stronger.

I like this song, but like a couple others, I don't think this'll do too much. I'd love for her to hit another #1, but to ensure that, I would've gone with "Flavor" or "The Feels" as a summer single. "Flavor" happens to be my favorite from the album so I hope that gets its radio dues soon.

This seems to be the single Maren wanted most. It comes off as more lovey-dovey than "The Bones" and really shows how grateful she is for Ryan, which, right now, is likely heavy on her heart.
"To Hell and Back" will be her current single when her first child is born. It means something to her.

I like this song, and she sounds great on it. Though this is not a repeater on the album for me. I actually had to go back and listen to remember what this one sounded like. If the team wanted another mid-tempo/ballad feel, I would’ve argued “A Song For Everything” would’ve been a stronger choice. We’ll see what the fourth single is—if there is one I think there’s no question it will have to be uptempo.

This is a great song, but probably wouldn't have been my choice for a single.

This is the song I wanted as a single since the album dropped. That chorus is just so personal and beautiful. I'm happy they decided "To Hell And Back", and I hope it is another #1 for her.

RSVP single #4? I could see it. Anyway, this looks to be an arena tour with venues of 9,000+. Also bringing Ryan along.

Well this is not at all what I was expecting. (Especially with AMFP being right there.) I do like the song and will root for it, but I'm skeptical about its viability as a single.

I still think the verses are a bit too weak for a single, but that chorus is actually spectacular.

I know this is competing with “The Bones”’s recurrent play but I still didn’t think it would have a negative week already! It’s also pulling lower adds than I would’ve thought.
Hopefully it’s able to get a footing as this is such an amazing song imo

I wonder if the title is holding it back, too. "What The Hell Did I Say" from Dierks Bentley stalled out below the top 40, and I remember there being a lot of talk that using 'hell' and 'damn' in "Speak To A Girl" (especially 'hell' being in the chorus) caused a lot of programmers to hesitate on it, causing it to stall out in the bottom of the top 20. Not saying that will be the case here, but I do wonder if it's a bit of a factor.
Not saying I agree (I think it's ridiculous, tbh), but I do wonder if that is playing into it a bit.

Probably a little bit but it’s mostly the fact that “The Bones” is such a huge song. The biggest of Maren’s career thus far (out side of “The Middle,” of course).
