So I wanted to do something like this for quite some time now. As someone who unintentionally mentions in every second sentence that he's German I have to do this.
Welcome to the 2000s German rankdown. I made a list of 35 songs from German artists that were released between 2000 and 2009. Those songs are probably not the ''best'' songs. I don't even like some of those songs. I just tried to make a list with some of the most succesful artists of that time and a list that shows what people here listen to back then. In the end this is a mix of many different genres (pop, hip hop/rap, rock, metal, dance, techno, rnb, even reggae). Most of these songs were top 10 hits (not all).
Rules shoud be clear by now. PM to me. I will add a deadline later. First I want to see if there's enough interest.

The playlist was only 2 hours 15 minutes. Not a very big time commitment.

Sorry that I forgot to check this out!! I’ve had an awfully busy month and even had to bail in a 100-song rankdown I was 75% done  I’d definitely be interested in this type of RD. I think a song with ~30 songs to discover is pretty ok. Several rock RDs I’ve participated in have had 30+ new songs for me and were a great way to discover music. I didn’t notice the deadline in the title so I missed it when scraping the rankdowns I needed to pay attention to. Still remain interested... |
