The most radio friendly song left on the album is βFree Womanβ. Sour Candy only has 2 choruses and itβs structure is a little weird for radio. To me Free Woman is pretty much the only radio single left. It feels like itβd do pretty well on HAC at the very least. |

Maybe by some miracle this will wind up at #9 tonight for a new peak. It's so close to "Say So" that they could swap places in the evening update, although it's not super likely.
Not that there's a huge difference between peaking at #9 versus #10, I just want as high a position as possible for this.

The safest / most radio friendly song imo is Fun Tonight, by miles. But honestly I donβt see any other song doing well on pop radio. I agree it's safe and radio friendly, kind of like Edge of Glory. But it has some of the lowest streams of any of the album tracks so that should be a red flag. Free Woman sounds radio friendly and is one of the most streamed album tracks on the other hand. |

Sigh. That remake reminded me how much I love this song and even though it's iconic, it should be even MORE iconic by hitting #1 on radio.
Also, I literally always thought the lyrics were "I rather be drunk but at least I'm in love" not "I rather be dry but at least I'm alive" and the song makes so much more sense now! hahahaha
