This might sound crazy, but What if Skechers by Drip Report (the guy who makes Indian remixes of rap songs) actually charts? Really that song has been picking up a lot of streams lately. Not this week, it’s only ~170 on AM and under Spotify’s tracking. But it has grown, and assuming this has strong YouTube presence (since I think that’s where his old stuff is?) strong AM and Spotify could eventually get him to chart, especially with three consecutive album bombs wiping out a ton of songs.

I didn't mean this week, but in the near future. Its already rising pretty fast on the Spotify charts in Canada that's why it got my attention.

This will probably be The Box's last week at #1. I'm incredibly happy with its success thus far, and I think anyone else here would say the same. Getting 11 weeks at #1 is nowhere near a bad thing at all. Roddy deserves. If it peaks at 11 weeks it would be the first song to do so since “Independence Woman”.

Does Old Town Road still hold the record for blocking the most songs from the number-one spot, even with bad guy and Senorita eventually going to nubmer-one?

Does Old Town Road still hold the record for blocking the most songs from the number-one spot, even with bad guy and Senorita eventually going to nubmer-one? It tied "Theme from A Summer Place" by Percy Faith and "(Everything I Do) I Do It for You" by Bryan Adams for blocking the most songs from the #1 spot with five.

Expecting a big drop for WHATS POPPIN today on Spotify, fsr only the album version is playable, so stuff in most people’s playlists won’t stream. Idk if it’s just for me, but the same thing happened to Ransom and that saw a decrease. Frustrating bug

“chart preview: @bts_twt’s “V” leading Hot Digital Song Sales race to No. 1 (~30,000 downloads).” I’m relatively new to this board, but does anyone know how accurate this is? Got it from twitter. Was it a random Twitter account? it’s from jessutation and it has 5k followers so I’m not sure how reliable they are.

Of course AM numbers can be pretty much anything but on Spotify Myron has 5.15M streams in 3 days when Silly Watch (#9 this week) had 5.93M at this stage.

We might see an album bomb equivalent to Lil Baby's considering how fast the new songs on EA deluxe seem to be fading, meaning not all that impactful. Juicy is definitely gone, and while they could might survive, this might also be the last week for Good as Hell and No Guidance.

What's Poppin is still #8 on Spotify, low numbers overall, thanks to corona perhaps?

Gonna be the last day I'm tracking numbers for any EA song outside of the Top 10. There's only 9 songs left, I see no reason to continue tracking them. Also yes, Blinding Lights only gained 7 whole streams compared to yesterday, and WHATS POPPIN was only down 9.

But why do streaming numbers decrease during this situation? One would think that people staying home will make them stream songs even more. I never thought many people prefer to stream outside of their homes.

I never thought many people prefer to stream outside of their homes. I think it’s because people aren’t streaming on their commute. I’m listening to music a lot more now, but I otherwise would’ve listened to music on the way to school, mostly. That’s a solid hour and a half of listening that other people wouldn’t necessarily replaced.

At least Memories has no chance at getting back at #1 and Harry Edward Styles did that he's possibly going top 5 soon on radio and going top 10 on billboard this week all I wanted was a top 10 peak now here we are 😁.

I’ve never seen someone gain only 7 streams and still be in the top 10 on spotify. That’s amazing but that goes to show that it’s kinda weak rn
