Once The Box bows out I feel like Blueberry Faygo will be the next streaming #1 Blinding Lights will get there first with the album this Friday. Btw, do you think the album bomb will be extra big considering how many people will be home to stream it? |

Could "Homemade" make a decent jump again? It made a 10-spot jump despite having 15 Lil Uzi Vert tracks debuting above. I suppose the second round of Lil Uzi Vert may prevent it though.

Imagine this becomes some anthem About this, I've been under full lockdown in Spain for a few days already (its awful BTW, I'd rather get ill tbh), and it's natural to think music consumption would increase a lot, but I actually think it will decrease. Especially radio and streaming. |

Homemade should be #1 in Country Airplay this week and with some of the Lil Uzi album bomb dropping and those from his deluxe version not quite replacing them, I do think it should rise somewhat. |

Going to quote Austin's earlier post on why we likely won't see much change regarding radio audience impressions: I wonder how COVID-19 is gonna effect radio, while the country likely going into a lockdown people are gonna spend less time on the road and more times indoors probably streaming Spotify. Since AI is estimated rather an real raw number, I doubt we're going to see much change to it. It would require Mediabase and Nielsen to do an AI recalibration at several points throughout the pandemic to get an accurate read on the changes, and I'm not convinced they're going to want to do all of that in the midst of the situation. They're probably wanting to limit work as much as possible as well. Not to mention they'd have to recalibrate multiples times yet again as the virus lets up and people slowly begin to return to commuting. IMO, what we're more likely to see is radio being more reluctant to change their playlists than an AI recalibration. |
