"Sweet Night" by V's having a relatively impressive debut. I guess those sales will do it for you.

I really doubt Stupid Love will drop by that much tbh, it's been stabilizing on streaming and gaining on radio. I think it may even rise a few spots.

remember when people thought streaming would kill long songs? only 16 of the top 50 most streamed songs on Spotify are under 3 minutes.

But what is the trend of the length of songs that turn out to be hits over the past few years? That is the trend people refer to when they say songs are getting shorter, not whatever inkling of a snapshot of a trend one week shows.

When the original OTR was like a minute and 53 seconds and went number 1. What a time

Short at the beginning, lengthening from the 70s and 80s, staying relatively stable in the 90s and 00s, then shortening again in the 10s.

There were plenty of short songs in 2019 and 2018 but we seem to be moving away from them. The Box - 3:16 Don't Start Now - 3:03 Life Is Good - 3:57 Blinding Lights - 3:21 Circles - 3:35 ROXANNE - 2:43Intentions - 3:32 Dance Monkey - 3:29 Memories - 3:09 Everything I Wanted - 4:05 on the entire chart there are only 18 songs under 3 minutes.

For some odd reason, the song no longer appears in the iTunes chart. maybe the numbers were fake since it was very low on itunes in other countries including Canada. could be similar to what happened to that Kris Wu song last year.we could find out for sure when the digital numbers come out next week.

I don't see how Myron could be #7? It might get 22-23 million audio streams, surely they are not enough for top ten? It's around what Homecoming did last week.

Homecoming got #22 with 5 other Lil Uzi songs above it, without those it'd have been #17, so Myron would have a bit of a boost over Homecoming by just not having to deal with the others

If Myron, with as tepid a streaming performance as it has had (it isn't even above a million on Spotify anymore), manages to debut top 10, then The Weeknd might have a Scorpion level album bomb by sheer virtue of the charts being so massively weak. He could completely obliterate the top 10, especially considering that the #2 song is only predicted to have around 25,000-26,000 points.

Just heard snippets of Dua Lipa's next single "Break My Heart", and I have to say - if this serves as the next North American single from "Future Nostalgia", it could wind up being a Pop Radio hit....maybe her next radio phenomena after "New Rules" & "Don't Start Now"?

"Don't Start Now" has been wavering all week which show signs of actually peaking on radio soon, which I'm worried about because I really want Dua Lipa to get at least one week at No. 1 on the Hot 100 - which is possible given that "The Box" seemed to have peaked in radio and its slipping in all formats. "Blinding Lights" getting an amazing update today (which I kinda predicted), but the real news here is how well "The Bones" is rebounding on radio after seeming to have peaked weeks ago (which I was obviously wrong about).

Circles is dropping very slowly.. but yay for Stupid Love!
Absolutely NOTHING happening on Spotify (apart from Uzi being in steady decline but it was all expected)

Giant gains for Roses, I'm curious if it'll become a hit stateside. To be honest, I'm not really a fan of this style or sound of club music; I remember first hearing it from that Dynoro song that got big in 2018, as well as Ride It from last year. Also, can anyone tell me why Robbery is making gains? I only noticed now but apparently it's been consistently gaining spots and streams the past few days.
And yes before anyone asks, the Megan song suddenly getting a boost is thanks to TikTok.

I feel with how quick radio was on board with Heatless, radio won't also be slow to grab After Hours. Even with it being 6 minutes, it's pretty catchy.

The Box had a good run on radio sucks it couldn't peak past #7. Let's Go Adore You ,Blinding Lights, and Don't Start Now.
