Its recurrent status makes it easy to forget that this is still top 5 on CHR. It had 15533 spins last 7 days, and the top 20 stations spun it between 123-135 times over same period, or once every 1hr15min. A lot of casual listeners only know the DaBaby version, and with the the album cut replacing the remix version on power rotation, it could easily bring about a renewed liking of the song for a lot of people. and 15533 spins is incredible for a 9 month old single from an era that began almost 2 years ago.. a handful of songs have hit #1 with less than that.

I know it shouldn’t really be the goal of Dua’s team after the incident, but a new remix with Meg, maybe with some shady lyrics toward “the baby”, it could push this song further into “Blinding Lights” territory. Dua feat @meg, I'm here for it tbh

omg I just heard for the first time in like 8 or 9 months the SOLO version on Z100!! avhhkqkwgeefvkjv. the boycott is real!
I think it's good that instead of removing the song from rotation they chose to play the original instead, the longevity of this song will reach close to Blinding Lights heights.
and this a bit silly to ask lol but anyway... what are you guys going to do with your last.fm plays? I have played over 200+ times the Levitating (feat. DaBaby) Idk what to do lmao.

^^ I have been charting (as I had said in here) the remix on my personal chart. I had hoped this winter i would be able to include it in the year-end rankdown of my personal chart, but I will likely turn to the original instead now because DaBaby does not deserve the streaming coins.

Z100 has switched over to the original mix, and based on their websites' music logs, it appears that most (possibly even all) iHeart CHRs have done the same. I believe Audacy may have done the same with their stations as well, I was listening to KUDL/Sacramento last night and they were playing the solo version. On the other hand, some radio programs like American Top 40 (which is owned by Premiere Networks) still play the remix on their CHR version of the show while they were already playing the solo version on their Hot AC chart.

The DaBaby remix is still sitting at #9 on Spotify's TTH after their Friday update as well as #2 on the This Is Dua Lipa playlist that they curate.
Spotify seems comfortable with promoting the remix despite Dua's statement 😒

The original version is discounted on iTunes and it's now sharing space in the Top 20 with the remix

WVKS (Toledo, OH) is still playing the DaBaby remix of the song. I know this because I heard it some 6 or 7 times during my 6-hour work shift tonight. So basically no acknowledgement of the whole incident from them (and/or by extension iHeartRadio). Update: Working again today, and they’re still playing the remix. I’ll be sending an email to them about this in the coming days.

iHeart's kid-friendly stations are still playing the remix but crediting it as the original. That's not the station's fault. I've noticed the iHeart streams don't necessarily differentiate between versions or will sometimes erroneously list remixes when the remix wasn't played. It's basically like how Mediabase will credit a remix on the charts as if all stations are playing it, when they're not (i.e. the BTS remix of Savage Love).

Nobody is dragging Camila into it about "My Oh My". DaBaby's comments were awful and I'm glad to see that stations are rightfully cancelling him for his offensive behavior. It does concern me though that, like the above comment mentions, it seems like stations are only focusing on the DaBaby remix of "Levitating" rather than his other collabs and songs. A local station of mine made a big point to say they were only playing the original "Levitating" from now on...but then they played "My Oh My" with DaBaby less than an hour later. It makes me worry that this is going to be a similar situation to Morgan Wallen where DaBaby's cancelled for a few months, and then people forget and he starts getting regular radio airplay again. DaBaby hasn't even shown any sort of remorse or said that he's going to try to educate himself; in fact he's done the opposite, try to distract from his horrifyingly offensive comments by bringing up other unrelated issues so he doesn't have to meaningfully address what was said. It also seems that his comments were possibly a publicity stunt for his new song that has a lyric mentioning AIDS, which makes it even worse. Hopefully I'm wrong, but the fact that so much energy is being focused on just "Levitating" has me worried that DaBaby's going to creep back into station's playlists in a few months like Morgan has.

Does it even exists? The thing is that if they cancel MOM they're removing Camila as well, it would be a punishment to her when she has nothing to do with this issue. I don't think Pop plays anything else by him, only Rockstar, My Oh My and used to play Levitating remix. He has scored a bunch of hits on Rhythmic and Urban stations, maybe Rhythmic will touch his singles a bit less but I don't see urban taking that step.

But is there a "solo" radio edit version of My Oh My? Does it even exists? Don't know if this is official or not.The station here appears to have dropped My Oh My and ROCKSTAR at the same time. Their "Top Hits" section still has the DaBaby remix at #8, but they'll probably change that soon.

It's a tough situation, because you're right that it's mainly a Camila song, though I imagine some of the more anti-rap stations would have a version without DaBaby that could be used to remove him. Pop did play his features on "I Did It" with DJ Khaled, as well as his remix of Anitta's "Girl From Rio," but both of those were already dying before this happened (though this issue appears to be accelerating their decline off the charts).

I just simply haven't heard "Levitating" at all on my local HAC station (I don't pay as much attention to my local CHR station; I like the HAC station more). They've shifted focus to "Love Again" it feels like, as they've started playing that much more now. (PS "Love Again" is ETHEREAL in the car holy f**k)

I mentioned the DaBaby situation in detail, the fact that many stations have already made the switch, and the hypocrisy of playing the remix alongside several openly-LGBTQ+ artists. Let's hope this works.

Demi can be problematic many a time, but sometimes they also make very strong points supporting equality. Good for them to speak out! http://instagr.am/p/CR2sjvjLeHT I mean, Demi just reposted someone else's words. Still good for them to share this on their page since they have such a big reach as a celebrity, but your comment almost made it seem like you were attributing these as Demi's words?

Just listened to KIIS-FM Los Angeles and can confirm that they’ve replaced the DaBaby version of “Levitating” with the original. So I just listened to a show on KIIS-FM called “The Vibe with Tanya Rad & EJ” (also syndicated to many iHeart stations) and they’re playing an edited version of the remix with DaBaby’s parts cut out, although it’s worth noting that show also plays shorter versions of other songs as well sometimes for time
