I like "A Little Want To" well enough...even though I hadn't considered it being a bottom 5 contender I suppose it just doesn't really stand out much and gets lost in the shuffle here.
I've never really cared much for "The Day She Got Divorced" sonically either, although I do remain partial to Brandy Clark's version. While I knew this would have a handful of fans amongst the group, I didn't think it would be enough for it not to leave within the bottom 5.

I hand't heard "I Need To Talk To You" prior to the Sing It Now rankdown and I was taken aback by how much this song just fits perfectly into Reba's repertoire...I could literally see this song being included on a handful of other albums she's released over the years. I had kept my expectations low for this low going into the rankdown so as not to be disappointed, but I still remain a bit puzzled that this would be slotted into someone's last place.

While the idea might be taboo, it's of course not the first time Reba has sung about something like this (hello "Fancy") and it isn't all that uncommon for country songs to incorporate the subject matter of prostitution...just look at "Three Wooden Crosses". I'd even say George Strait's "Neon Row" somewhat broaches this subject.

Had I been able to do predictions I would've had every Jesus Jam in the bottom 5 with my predictions (yes even this one) only because y'all have tanked a couple of them all to hell when they got chances in rankdowns so I'm not surprised at any of the reveals so far. Nice to get a perfect ranking for "A Little Want To"! I like the song but never was too big on it so I'm glad to see it gone here.

Now we lose the second bonus track from Sing It Now. This one made a solid run at the top 30, but in the end just got too many bottom 7 ranks and was not able to hold on.
I have gone on multiple rants about why I love "Meanwhile Back At The Cross" so much, so I will make this one short. I have NEVER heard a song that so perfectly describes the state of our modern society, and the way it does it by simultaneously contrasting the actions of the devil with those of Jesus is very creative and unusual for a song. "The devil said, 'We'll use their pride. We'll attack them from inside. Fill their hearts with vanity, til their differences are all they see. Black and white, rich and poor, to justify their holy war.'" Those lyrics are CHILLING. And Reba's vocals here are in top form. I'm disappointed that this one is so polarizing on Pulse.

Iâm not a religious person per se (spiritual yes) nor am opposed to Christian-themed songs (see the aforementioned âI Need To Talk To Youâ), but thereâs just some aspects lyrically to âMeanwhile Back At The Crossâ that I donât care for...and Iâm just going to leave it at that.

One more song will miss the top 30! Sing It Now only has one song left...... Will it be able to survive??!?? Yes, it did!! The title track, "Sing It Now", lives another day!!!! "Promise Me Love" is the unlucky song that misses the top 30. And I lose my #4 ![:'(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cry.png) I am not surprised by this placement, but it does make me sad. This song has such a smoooooooooth, feel-good groove to it. The echoey production makes it sound so unique and really works for me, especially when she starts harmonizing with herself with so many vocal layers heading into the pre-chorus. Not to mention that the driving beat helps this to be one of those songs that literally slays your life when you listen to it as loud as possible driving down the road with the windows down on a summer evening ![](http://i.imgur.com/2smy76v.gif) Of course all those production elements are probably precisely what makes this one so polarizing... Lol Y'all, I was SHOCKED that this song did well enough to make the album tracks rankdown at all, as Love Somebody is an insanely stacked album. As disappointing as this placement is to me, the fact that it made this rankdown at all was a huge victory imo, and automatically puts it in the upper echelon of her album tracks. So y'all are trash for tanking it, but I'll forgive you eventually ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

No real surprises yet here so far. I'm not surprised at all to see the Sing It Now songs out so early, besides the title track. Also, I'm not surprised to see "A Little Want To" gone so early as well. I really like it, but it does seem to be one of her more underrated album tracks on here.

Everything revealed so far comes as no surprise to me. If I had been around to do predictions, I 100% would've predicted that the gospel songs would all flop. I would've guessed at least 3 of them land bottom 5, and I doubt "Sing It Now" escapes bottom 10.
Thrilled to see "Divorced" out so soon though. It's one of the most un-enjoyable Reba songs to listen to. That dreary melody and production... man, even just picturing it in my head is agony. Awful tune. I'd like to think it wouldn't have made this rankdown at all if All the Women I Am hadn't been so short while also simultaneously having an usually high # of singles, lol.

I didn't have the Deluxe for Sing It Now, so this was the first I ever heard "Meanwhile Back at the Cross." That song alone was worth her having made a Christian album. So, so beautiful. I love how the lyrics give voice to the Devil actually and paint everything that's happening in the world right now as something that started all the way back at the cross and how the Devil's plans are almost come to fruition with so much hatred in the world--"It's almost over now...," time for the Antichrist to come soon... I listened to it on loop for like a week after sending in my list.

Sorry I didn't get to any reveals yesterday!!! I got busy until it was too late for all y'all ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png) "Does The Wind Still Blow In Oklahoma?" leaves us next, as the first elimination from Reba's Duets album! This is a good song. It is deliciously traditional in sound, and Reba and Ronnie always have a lot of chemistry as performers. Unfortunately it has one of those melodies that just kinda wears quickly on me, so I can't listen to it too frequently. Also, because of the key change when Ronnie starts singing, this basically becomes a Ronnie Dunn song for the remainder of the song once Ronnie starts singing... A lot of Reba's backgrounds are turned waaaaaaay down to let Ronnie's voice be in the forefront. Which kinda sucks. I like the parts where she sings lead more!!

The Duets album takes a pretty rapid second loss here, as the Don Henley duet bows out next. "Break Each Other's Hearts Again" was pretty consistently in the 25-30 range of this rankdown, despite two top 10 ranks from castleoblivion26 and toomuchboy . Honestly, my biggest problem with this song is the key change when Don comes in. Male/female duets are hard to do well, imo, because most male artists do not have low enough voices to keep the song in the same key but sing an octave lower than the female (Think Brothers Osborne on Maren Morris' "All My Favorite People"), or a high enough voice to match pitch with the female (Rascal Flatts/Natasha Bedingfield on "Easy"). So instead they usually have to rely on random key changes. The result is either so good that it is barely noticeable (think Martina McBride/Bob Seger's "Chances Are", or Reba/B&D's "If You See Him/If You See Her"), or they will be so awkward that they ruin the whole song. This song is an example of the latter. Reba sets the song up in such a beautiful way, and then as soon as you start to really get into it, the key changes and Don starts singing, and it sounds so jarring... It's almost like a completely different song. And then of course because it would be hard to switch back and forth between keys, Don just takes the lead for the entire rest of the song, which is a huge mistake because Reba's voice is MUCH better....

The title track of Reba's first album of the 2010s leaves us next. "All The Women I Am" is the 3rd loss from its parent album, leaving it to be the second album that is down to only 2 songs left (after the gospel album, which has since been eliminated). This song definitely takes some getting used to, and I could totally understand it being awesome to some and terrible to others. It has grown on me a TON through the years, but I still had to put it in my bottom 15. This song features Reba's signature spunk and attitude, and has descriptive lyrics that end up sounding a little reflective and autobiographical coming from her. One of my favorite parts of this song, however, is that EPIC Soprano Sax solo!!!! How often do you hear that at all, let alone in country music? Gotta crank that one up every time ![:smokingdiva:](http://i.imgur.com/t6wcd.jpg)
