This should be fun since I only know 1 of these songs. Listening to the album now. I don’t listen to 90’s music a whole lot unless I am listening to songs that I love and usually they are tunes that were hits. Well 5 of these 12 songs were HUGE hits, so... Time to familiarize yourself! ;) He's a renegade! |

1. What will finish at #1? "I Like It, I Love It", although tbh "She Never Lets It Go To Her Heart" and "Maybe We Should Sleep On It" are both going to be very strong contenders as well, and I would not be surprised by any of them winning. 2. What will finish in last place? Maybe "That's Just Me"? 3. What will be the most polarizing song of the rankdown? Least polarizing? Most: "When She Wakes Up (And Finds Me Gone)". Least: "She Never Lets It Go To Her Heart". 4. Of the five singles, what will leave us first? Title track will leave first, probably around #6. Overall the singles will dominate, but an album track (preferably "Don't Mention Memphis"!) might manage to sneak ahead of that one... 5. Do either of bboat11's album track darlings (Don't Mention Memphis, When She Wakes Up (And Finds Me Gone)) have a chance of being either of the two not making the album tracks rankdown? THEY'D BETTER NOT!!!!!! They are literally both going to be my top 5 in the album tracks rankdown. I will be absolutely devastated if they don't make it  6. Any other thoughts/comments/concerns/rants? This is a very strong album. Easily one of my favorites from him! But "Renegade", "That's Just Me", and "The Wrong Man" all have a similar vibe and may as well be interchangeable. So my preference would be for 2/3 of those to miss the album tracks rd. "Memphis", "Wakes Up", "I Didn't Ask", "Great Divide", and "Renegade" would be the perfect group to make the album tracks rd, imo!

Guys, the ice has taken over and has taken my power with it.  But I am running on a generator and do still plan on revealing the bottom 2 tonight. I know my hints suck, but I love them lol Hint for #12! |

The catchy but possibly overlooked You Got The Wrong Man leaves us first! A song about a girl judging the wrong man comparing him to her terrible past relationships. This girl is broken. I think it might be the 'catchiest' on the entire album? Something about this songs melody reminds me of Between the River and Me from Let It Go, not sure why. This song was sadly always flirting with last place which is where it ended up. Goodnight sweet prince! Four of you lose your last place, but I won't be congratulating your taste. The hint was just to promote the amazing SMG and the show Ringer, with this epic unforgettable opening scene line:  Ugh, can we dedicate all future posts in some way to SMG?  Anyway, BYE You Got The Wrong Man! |

And there you have it! Somehow we have the second most polarizing song of the rankdown that would've definitely finished last place if it wasn't for a few admirers of the track. I think it's a fine cute song that is an easy listen! it's just hard when almost half the album is popular singles and the other half are strong album tracks. bboat11 has his two favorites in the album tracks rankdown!  |

This is easily my favorite album of his career, so I don't dislike anything here...but "The Wrong Man" and "That's Just Me" are very much the bottom-tier of this album. They are nothing but filler. Mind you, album filler from the mid-'90s was miles better than filler songs of today!!!! But still, on an album full of career-defining uptempo smashes, these come nowhere close to stacking up. |

"You Got The Wrong Man" was so bad lol. Not a good fit for Tim's voice either IMO. I hated the arrangement and how he delivered it. The only acceptable choice for last place. "That's Just Me" is classic, phenomenal 90s country tho and very strong for just an album track so 'you got the wrong song' @ 11 guys  |

for some reason this album is the one '90s album of Tim's that I've never loved. I think I enjoy some of the album tracks off of Tim McGraw, Not A Moment Too Soon, Everywhere, and A Place In The Sun more than my favorite from this one. Sorry to those that love this one but it never grabbed me. It may have to do with the fact that it was the last of his 90s albums that I bought and Everywhere and Not A Moment Too Soon were among my first two Country CD's ever.
That being said some of these songs definitely grabbed my attention when listening to them for this and I wonder if when we do the Album Tracks rankdown if they will make it higher on my list than my initial thoughts on the matter.
Also how does ANYONE have either of these bottom 2 songs in their top 4 when you have songs like "I Like It, I Love It", "She Never Lets It Go To Her Heart", "Maybe We Should Just Sleep On It", and "Can't Be Really Gone". Also anyone who doesn't have CBRG in their Top 5 is trash, just saying...
