Looooove Black Jacket!!! Sorry about Sick Of Me ClevelandRox. I don't dislike the song, but just didn't stand out to me. But glad Black Jacket made it this far!! :)

I’d have to guess that hint is for “Dust”.

Deleting the poll that locked the other day for what album we are doing next. As everyone has seen, Let It Go won! :)

I think “Dust” is next but somehow hope the clue is for “City Lights”

You're all wrong: It's "Meanwhile Back at Mama's." Matthew McConaughey's an alien and he's shown there landing on his mom's home planet for a holiday visit.

Joking aside, this was legit my first thought too... I just didn't want to get my hopes up I've never seen this movie, but I watched a trailer for funsies, and several times he's like "I will be back" and I immediately thought of that song! But still, not gonna get my hopes up 'cause I know it can't be...

I do like it but just barely tbh lol. Somedays I outright hate it and other times I do actually really like it lol

As long as it isn’t “Shotgun Rider”! I didn’t watch that movie so I’m not sure if there was a shotgun rider on the (ship?)...

Dust is the song to leave us in 7th place! Kanenrá:ke 's wish is granted. Dust is my jam on this album! tim was right about the clue! I used Interstellar because the reason they need to leave earth is the amount of dust storms is making it unlivable! The movie came out the same year as the album and I was naive enough to think they could somehow use it as a single with film footage of the dust storms in the video. (like Twister in No One Needs to Know) 😂 ^ Rare picture from the set of the scrapped video for 'Dust'!

City Lights just misses our top five! The top six never really changed during the submission process and this was pretty much always in sixth. I think this would've been a great single and as much as I love Diamond Rings and Old Barstools, I remember being shocked when that was the fourth third single and not City Lights or Sick of Me.

Yes, another recap! 😂 But just wanted to show the difference in points once it got to the top six.
Results
18. Lookin' For That Girl - 288 points 17. I'm Feelin' You - 254 points 16. Kids Today - 229 points 15. The View - 226 points 14. Keep on Truckin' - 221 points 13. Still on the Line - 214 points 12. Words Are Medicine - 209 points 11. Last Turn Home - 199 points 10. Lincoln Contintentals and Cadillacs - 190 points 9. Sick of Me - 186 points 8. Black Jacket - 170 points 7. Dust - 160 points 6. City Lights - 135 points
The top 5
Diamond Rings and Old Barstools (With Catherine Dunn) Meanwhile Back at Mama's (feat. Faith Hill) Overrated Portland, Maine Shotgun Rider
About to watch Godzilla vs Kong and eat supper but want to finish this off in a few short hours! What will be the first song to leave us when I get back? 🙏

Ha, I knew it! I guess I’m just not hearing what y’all who like “Dust” are as the song has just never clicked with me. I don’t much care for the lyrics or the production of the song, so therefore I just couldn’t find a reason to rank it any higher than I did.
“City Lights” has always been one of the standout album tracks for me and I was actually somewhat surprised they didn’t opt to release this as a single. I think the opportunity would’ve been there for it to be released had they not gone with “Lookin’ for That Girl” as the lead single.
This is a pretty stellar top five! I think the two album tracks will likely exit first leaving the three remaining singles duking it out. Here’s my rough take on predicting how this’ll play out:
5. Overrated 4. Portland, Maine 3. Meanwhile Back at Mama’s 2. Shotgun Rider 1. Diamond Rings and Old Barstools
I think the top two could really go either way, but I'm leaning towards this end result if only because "Diamond Rings" came out ahead of "Shotgun Rider" in Tim's artist rankdown.

The first song to leave the top five is the opening track! This song received so much support that even my top ten rank is the second lowest, I look like such a hater. 😂 Definitely another one that could've been a single. Not to throw shade at the next album in our series, but how does Let It Go get seven singles and stacked albums like STH and Two Lanes of Freedom get 3 and a ½?

Okay, there is no universe in which "Portland, Maine" is the BEST album track on this entire album I enjoy it a lot, and wanted it to make the album tracks rankdown....but more like as the 5th highest album track, lmao.

We lose our final album track just shy of the top 3! It was actually our #1 during our first six or so lists (which was about 80% of the submission period 😂). I've expressed my love for this song and am just happy it made it into the album tracks rankdown!
Battle of the three big singles! And there's only a one point difference between two of them. 😓

Okay this isn't nearly as black and white as people acting like "Till There's Nothing Left" was the song that didn't deserve to be a single on The Otherside even after watching "Classic" come in last place. We're talking about differences of a position or two here 😂

We lose the final single released from Sundown Heaven Town in third place. I would've really loved to have seen it make the RotB rankdown. 😥 I've never gotten tired of listening to this one. Five participants ranked this as their #1 and all but two had it in their top 7.

The predictable yet correct winner! "Shotgun Rider" is such a breezy, windows-down anthem. This will be a perfect song to jam out to this summer as I drive around listening to my rankdown winner playlist!!

And by the end, Shotgun Rider was our clear victor! 30 points ahead of our #2! Meanwhile, Meanwhile Back at Mama's looked destined to finish third but got to second in our last two lists and finished one point ahead of Diamond Rings. Bittersweet as I would've loved either to get top two finishes.
Recap
City Lights - 135 points 5. Overrated - 110 points 4. Portland, Maine 89 points 3. Diamond Rings and Old Barstools (With Catherine Dunn) - 76 points 2. Meanwhile Back at Mama's (feat. Thanks for hosting ClevelandRox! This was fun. “Shotgun Raider” is a great song. I am glad my #1 - “Portland, Maine” was so high on the list. EDIT: lmfao @ “Let It Go” having 7 singles from it and they still didn’t release the second best song on the album but that’s a story for another day....
