Although I will say, this rankdown WAS a lot of fun and I did find 3 new Tim McGraw songs to enjoy, so perhaps I will continue to do his album RDs  time will tell! You can't even keep up with George Strait's albums, when you have like 2 entire months to do them and you already know and love them! ClevelandRox , you should believe ZERO promises that this guy makes you. Hey now, I never promised him anything! |

I literally always forget that "One Of These Days" exists, let alone the fact that it was a single, and let alone that it was apparently a huge top 2 peaking hit!!!! How it managed to escape all 18 of Curb's forced Tim McGraw greatest hits releases is an impressive feat that I cannot even begin to explain. But honestly, this song is alright, but it is boring as heck when compared to all the other hits from this album, so it is definitely leaving in the correct place. The thought of it sneaking into the top 5 over "For A Little While".......  Speaking of "For A Little While", "For A Little While" is one of his most over-hated hits on Pulse. That is such a powerfully fun melody that just fills me with nostalgia (both because of it being a hit during my childhood, and also because it is just one of those melodies that perfectly evokes nostalgia). This song never gets enough credit. "It's Your Love" is soooooo overplayed that it is barely listenable these days. I said my thoughts on that one in the Faith Hill Extras rankdown the other day. It is a fantastic song, that I would be totally fine to never hear again! I had a feeling that "Just To See You Smile" would get tanked out of the top 2. There seems to be a sense of this song being overrated on Pulse, which is why it seems to pick up more haters every time it has ever been in a rankdown. But it is still a fantastic song, that I definitely would not have been disappointed to see win this rankdown! The instrumentation and melody are both so catchy. I was rooting for "Where The Green Grass Grows" to pull off an upset victory, even though I fully expected "Everywhere" to be the most likely winner. This song may have been overplayed through the years too, but there is no denying that the cold open with the twin fiddles is one of the most iconic and immediately recognizable moments of '90s country  "Everywhere" is another fantastic song, but tbh I have kinda started liking it less thanks to Pulse... I get kinda tired of it these days :( That's why I was rooting for WTGGG to pull off an unexpected victory, because I feel like "Everywhere" is pretty overrated on Pulse. Everyone here always treats it like it's one of the best songs of his entire career, but tbh he has so many good songs to me that this one wouldn't even be in my top 30 of his singles alone... Anyway, thank you for hosting ClevelandRox!!!! I am thrilled that this series is finally under way. Btw, you did a very nice job with your first rankdown :) |

I regret nothing. At least I can keep "You Turn Me On" and "Hard On the Ticker" on in the background but if "Just To See You Smile" I change it immediately so it was no question which belonged the lowest out of those 3 |

Stoked for this one. This album, like quite a few others of his, has some superior album tracks. I am also thinking I may have the highest ranking for Truck Yeah and it won't be all that high...

All I'm saying is that this song sounds real good when you are out in the country driving with the windows down. You won't see Truck Yeah in my Top 4, but it is fighting hard for the number 5 position.
I appreciate that many of you may put Truck Yeah in at #14.
This really was a solid album. Only one song that I find uninteresting.

I'm right there with you as I've never dived into this album and the last album prior to this one that I did listen to was 2002's The Dancehall Doctors. There was a span there where I just kind of lost interest in the material that he was putting out and it wasn't until 2014's Sundown Heaven Town that I became more interested in listening to the album as a whole. |

I put this off when I saw that the album is not on Spotify (at least in Mexico), so I gave up. But I see that I have it downloaded from ages past lol So I'll be submitting tomorrow after I listen... hopefully!!

ClevelandRox look at us competing with each other for the honor of hosting the floppiest rankdown of all time! 😂 But tbh, while the low participation in Faith’s could easily be due to lack of interest, the fact that practically nobody has submitted for THIS, one of Tim’s most popular and recent albums, is really leading me to believe that we have a widespread case of rankdown fatigue on our hands. There is no WAY this album would have trouble getting close to 20 lists under normal circumstances... Perhaps all the drama in America lately has been exhausting people? I know I have barely thought about rankdowns all week as I’ve been watching all the protests and riots unfold 😬 It’s been a distracting week, for sure.
